    Additional Location Information

Piazza Navona, a jewel of the Baroque art, is one of the most beautiful squares in Rome.
Its stretched shape from North to South comes from the Stadium of Domiziano, which was built there in 86 A.C. and had a 275 meters lenght and a 105 meters width.
The square is decorated with 3 fountains, and the "Acqua vergine", discovered by the Roman Emperor Agrippa in 19 B.C. near "Salone", gushes out from them.
At the center of the square the "Fontana dei Fiumi", realised in 1651 by world known sculptor Gian Lorenzo Bernini.

      Our holidays :-)

Left on 09/29/2011 for a stay in July 2011

The apartment is big and nicely done. We needed 2 double bedrooms for us and our friends and another bedroom with 2 single beds for the kids. We've been doing lots of search before booking this apartment and we found out that there are not many 3 bedrooms apartments available in central Rome. We're glad we choose this one as it met all our expectations. It is on the first floor and is bright enough considering that the Pantheon area - where the apartment is located - is the most ancient in Rome and all buildings have been built centuries ago close one to another, facing small but unique and picturesque small streets. The apartment was pretty clean, well equipped and all the appliances were working properly. Communication with the agency was really impressive as they answered our e-mails and our questions promptly, generally within one hour! Our tip: try the Pistacchio gelatto at Giolitti's, the best ice-cream we've ever had. We'll be back for sure.

      Good experience

Left on 11/05/2010 for a stay in October 2010

The apartment is located on Via della Stelletta which, despite being in the center of city, is a quite street. Everything we needed was basically within a walking distance. We were a party of 6 people and the Helios apartment was big enough to accommodate us comfortably and allowing each couple to have enough privacy. The dining table in the living room was also perfect for us when we had meals at home all together. The beds were very comfortable as the mattresses were in a very good shape. Overall the Helios apartment was worth every penny we spent. We can definitely recommend it

      Pantheon huge apartment

Left on 02/20/2010 for a stay in December 2009

The pictures we saw on the website did not do justice to the apartment. It was bigger, roomier and prettier than depicted.
I love to live in this apartment. It was the type of place that I used to dream about staying in when I was a student walking through a pretty square at night on my way back to the hostel.
The beds were very comfortable and our bedroom was roomy enough for a king size bed and another single bed.The kitchen was very well equipped and I would have enjoyed cooking full meals in this kitchen but we didn't come to Rome to eat at home!!
Both bathrooms were clean and had plenty of hot water. The furniture was in good shape, comfortable and fortunately for its owners, durable. There was a large table in the main room with several extra chairs. The apartment was very clean.I would highly recommend this rental

      Great experience

Left on 01/27/2010 for a stay in October 2009

I stayed in the Helios apartment with my family back in Ocotber. It has been a great experience as the apartment was spotless and I liked very much the design of the furnitures. One can see that the apartment has been designed by an architect and everything is pretty new. It has a large living room where all my family could rest when, in the evening, we came back from the Roman promenades. The apartment is pretty large and when my children went to sleep we didn't have to worry about the television being to loud as the 2 bedrooms where they slept are on the opposite side of the flat. The thrird bedroom is adjacent to the living room and that's where my housband and I slept. All the bedrooms are very very quiet as they are facing an internal courtyard. Finally, the location of the apartment was perfect as it is in the ancient center of Rome.
We can recommend this apartment with no hesitations.
