The Pantheon was originally a temple dedicated to all the Gods of the Roman mythology. It is located in the nothern area of the "Campo Marzio" and is the monument that is better preserved among those of the ancient Rome.
Marco Agrippa, brother in law of the emperor Augusto, was the first to build this huge and magnificient building
The actual building is not the original one built by Marco Agrippa, but a later version that was made by the emperor Adriano (117-139 A.C.) after the original one was destroyed by a fire. A curiosity: the famous painter Raffaello is buried there, a per his wish.

Great apartment with a few little issues but overall would recommend it for price and location!! Really only pne bathroom and extra very tiny toilet off the kitchen and a few extra utensils and dishtowels etc in the kitchen would be good. Clean and comfortable andplenty of room for 4 adults. The absolute best location ever you can really walk everywhere even to the vatican (only 20 mins stroll) loved our stay at the Royale and would definately stay there again.

The Royale apartment was a great value overall. The layout was as we expected and it was very clean and bright. The comfort of the beds was perfect and it was furnished with everything we could need. The thing we enjoyed more is the view from the living room which spreads all over central/southern Rome. The apartment is very central, just a short walk from the Pantheon. Staying in this apartment contributed to make our stay in Rome a great holiday. Staff of the agency was very friendly and helpful and booking very easy.

This apartment is in the center of Rome, close to Pantheon. We were very happy with our choice as we've rented other apartments around Europe and we believe this one is the best we had, considering the price we paid. Everything in the apartment is of a good quality and well maintained and very clean. We had two bedrooms with two big and comfortable beds and two bathrooms. The apartment has also a nice view from the living room as it is on the 5th floor of the building (with a small lift). The people of the agency were always very friendly. All in all a very good experience.
