“Rome at Home†is an elegant apartment situated on the second floor of a distinguished 1890's building of Via dei Gracchi 191, in the heart of the elegant Prati neighbourhood.The apartment is located on the 2nd floor (lift available) of a very elegant building that dates back to the end of the 19th Century.
The apartment is composed of a living room with a double sofa bed, a completely equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a Queen sized bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a bathroom with a tub.

We really enjoyed the staying in this accomodation. It is very near the metro station Lepanto, near are shops, restaurants, short walk to Vatikan. Rooms were clean, beds OK, some equipment needs repair :-)
Check-in was all right, all the informations about staying given by Paola and Valerio were right and helpful.. -

Mi familia y yo, pasamos diez dÃas en Roma, durante la primera quincena de Octubre, y la verdad es que disfrutamos mucho de las vacaciones. Nos alojamos en el Rome at Home apartment, que ahora puedo decir, fue una elección acertada. Valerio nos atendió perfectamente antes de llegar y una vez en Roma, se encargó incluso de reservarnos un taxi para salir y volver a el aeropuerto. El apartamento, está en un edificio antiguo, con ascensor (muy importante sobre todo a la llegada y a la salida para mover las maletas) es amplio, sencillo, con todo lo necesario (bueno, sà echamos en falta una cosa, un microondas). Muy bien situado a pocos minutos de Vaticano y de la parada de metro de Lepanto. Con un supermercado y pequeñas tiendas de alimentación en la misma calle y todas las tiendas que puedas desear en la calle paralela que lleva a Vaticano. Muy recomendable.

The check-in was easy, and the apartment details were well explained. The location was perfect. Although it is easy enough to walk to everything in central Rome, the apartment is also very close to the subway. The neighbourhood was fantastic, with cafes close by and a decent sandwich shop next door and a supermarket a block away.
I would most definitely stay here again if I'm back in Rome. -

Our arrival was perfect. We were being picked up from the airport by taxi at a fair price. This had been organized by family Di Peco. Then we were warmly welcomed in the apartment and felt at home right away. We found everything very tidy and clean (we just would have appreciated to have a working dishwasher)and will surely book this apartment again, when returning to Rome.

Our group (3adults and 3children) enjoyed this apartment for the full.Location was just as great as we assumed,we walked everywhere and didn´t need public transportation.Great location to do some shopping nearby,and the kebab/pizza place at the neighbor was just awesome!!I mean if you wanted to have something quick to eat.Paola was very friendly and helped with everything we needed.One small minus was the traffic in the street but that is not the reason for not to go to this apartment.Everything was as in the pictures and there were no bad suprises.We will definately rent this apartment again if are lucky to go to Rome once again.

We had a kind reception. All the apartment details were well explained. The location was close to the main atractions we visited.
The apartment was warm and comfortable but the boiler was not adequate for the bath of all the six members of my family. There was also an issue with the electricity If more than there appliances were being used at the same time. The dishwasher was not working either.
We liked the apartment. If those issues had not existed our rating would have been higher. -

We received a very good and friendly welcome with tips about visiting Rome. The apartment was spacious and well kept. And the location was perfect!
The street was a bit noisy during the night and all electrical equipment did not work, but that's Rome.
All in all, our family enjoyed the apartment and the holiday.

A beautifull townd we knew and wanted to see more than 20 years after to our children...The same.
The apartment is in a old building (funny) and have a good location. But with the trafic and the "rammassage des ordures" at 2 o'clock in the morning, we slept half good. -

We had a very nice stay in Rome at Home apartment, the owner was very kind, we checked in and checked out with no problems.
Location was fantastic and the neighborhood was great. You can walk to almost anywhere and it was safe to walk back at nights.
The only negative thing I can say was the lack of air conditioning but we knew that before choosing this flat, we just couldn't estimate how hot it would be in Rome. There were fans in all rooms though.
Overall, this is a great apartment to stay in Rome, central, clean and large enough for 6 people.

We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights to see aTP tournament in Rome. We were a group of friends. The apartment was located in a elegant and easy to reach street, near Vatican. Wery simple to reach Foro Italico were we saw the tennis tournament. Nice forniture, very classic. Easy and friendly chek-in, with Beatrice. Good sleep, no problems with the owner the last day to leave the apartment in the afternoon.

We were very impressed with the apartment; very spacious and comfortable providing for all our requirements. It is in a nice neighbourhood, very close to a supermarket and bakery, amongst other amenities.
The meet and greet service was excellent.

My wife, 3 teenaged sons and I stayed at Rome at Home for 3 nights in april 2011. The bedrooms are very spacious and clean. The location is great. The apartment feels very secure and well taken cared of. We would like to stay there again.

My friends (couple with twin 10-year-old girls) and I stayed in this lovely apartment for 3 days in Sept 2010, and appreciated Paola's hospitality and kindness--her tips on getting around, the grocery store around the corner (so we could buy some breakfast things, a bottle of wine, etc.), the closest gelateria, etc. The apartment is very spacious, with lovely wood floors, large kitchen, comfortable beds, and a washing machine. The neighborhood is walkable to most tourist locations and the neighborhood is quiet and pleasant--reminds me of the upper West side of NYC. If you are traveling with 3 to 6 people, this apartment is a must-stay.

My husband and I stayed here with our 22 year old son and 19 year old daughter. It was very spacious and comfortable and the location was excellent. We were grocery shopping and eating gelato with the locals. We felt like we were part of the neighborhood. The Bancomat was directly across the street which was very helpful and we were able to walk all over Rome from the Vatican to the Trastervere neighborhood. Directions from the train station were very good even through the maze of the metro system we made it. We had a very memorable stay, thanks. Carmelina M.

Apartament w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji. Praktycznie mo?na zwiedzi? Rzym bez korzystania ze ?rodków komunikacji. Do Watykanu 10 minut pieszo. Kuchnia wyposa?ona we wszystko co niezb?dne, pokoje czyste. Bezproblemowe odebranie kluczy i zdanie apartamentu.

The location close to the Vatican was perfect and was combined with excellent transport facilities. Local restaurants were of very good standard which meant that after a day's tourism in Rome one could relax close to one's accommodation and not have to travel to dine.
The accommodation itself was excellent and we would not have wished for better. The welcome we received from Paola when we arrived was very warm and set the tone for what was an excellent holiday in an excellent location.
