What's Nearby:
Additional Location Information
The apartment is located in the neighbourhood of Termini Train Station and Piazza Repubblica, an area offering plenty of restaurants, bars, supermarkets and stores, including a 7/11 drug store only a few minutes away.
A 10 minute walk leads straight to the church of Santa Maria Maggiore and to Via Cavour, whereas in only 15 minutes one reaches the gateway to the historical center.
Right in piazza della Repubblica is one of the oldest churches of Rome. This Piazza was part of the great redevelopment undertaken when Rome became part of a unified Italy. Under the sweeping 19th Century colonnades there were once elegant shops, but they have been ousted by banks, travel agencies and cafes. In the middle of the piazza stands the Fontana delle Naiadi.
There is a multi screen Warner Bros Cinema at Piazza Repubblica which shows the latest blockbuster films in their original language.
In the square right in front of the station are bus stops for buses going to the city center and to the Vatican, whilst inside the station is the Termini Underground stop.
From the airport the easiest means is the Leonardo Express train, going straight to Termini Station which is a 5 minutes walk to the flat.

Brisbane, AustraliaVery polite, easy and helpful staff for booking and check-in; hi
Left on 02/11/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We received great service by all the staff I dealt with from Halldis, from the booking process to the check-in and check-out. Every of my questions, requests etc. was answered very quickly and efficiently and Marija really tried her best to find an apartement for us that suited our needs. We are a family of four with two teenagers who wanted enough space and a close location to Termini as we arrived by train from Venice. Nino was there on time to hand over the keys and explain the apartment and paperwork and gave us good tips what to do and where to go when he asked him questions. The apartment was in a very easy to get to location from the train station, not too far away from the underground and also very convenient to walk to most points of interest. There were also two supermarkets close - one at the train startion and an even better one in the next street. There were all the necessary dishes and pots and so on in the kitchen. The bedrooms were huge and the beds were fine. There was also a small washingmachine which was very useful. Some appliances were connected a bit 'strange', may be not to the australian standard of safety but we managed. So, all in all we found it very good and it worked very well for our family and for what we needed.

The first day two persons had to sleep on the floor and do not offset the invoice at any time.
And even after we get a debit credit card EUR 23.90 on 23 May which know the justification for this money.
Otherwise all right and the attentions of Stefania very effective. -

Great place to stay for a family, best location for asian people for asian restaurants, groceries and other facilities are available nearby. No need to go to market for it is just a step from your door.Apartment is equipped with appliances however I have two things I do not like; washer is small for us (but for a single person or a couple it is ok)and there is no dryer.

Austin, TXOverall - nice apartment for a family of 5

We loved the location and loved that a open street market formed on the street in front of the flat every morning. Fresh fruit, coffee, and pasteries were available right at the front door. The flat is overall decent / bed were comfortable. The location worked well for us since we used the buses and metro to get around town. The floor a/C unit in one bedroom was disappointing, you had to open the window for the a/c to vent. Kindof defeated the purposes when it was 100 outside. The other a/c unit would shut off after 2hrs because it would fill up w/ water. Only a fan was available for the living room and kitchen.

Location was great and confort was adequate. Problem was with service. Had problem with internet DSL and got poor assistance from Halldis. Apartment did not have all equipment as advertised and support/contact was slow or none.
Response from Halldis - 09/12/2011

We hope this did not prevent you from enjoying your stay in Rome.

Francesco was good on time. Could give us adequate information. Pity we did not know that on Sunday an extra € 20 is charged. Bathroom very small and outdated. The refrigerator turns contineu. Each weekday the market will start from 4.30 am up in the street. Excellent bakery as a neighbor. Good but noisy pizzeria at 30 meters from the front door. Many bus and metro connections nearby. You have to find out yourself how they run

Pluses : Location hard to match by Roman standards
with three metro stops within 500 meters.
Very quiet building, rooms spacy except bathroom.
Can accomodate four people without problem.
Check-in and out well organized, helpful staff on the phone.
Minuses : Kitchen sparsely equiped, even for two people.
Several appliances in mediocre condition (washing machine, shower, air conditioners).
All in all, a good deal if you privilege central location and are not too demanding about housing quality.
