lovely exotic garden next to the Vatican

we had a nice stay , specialy the lovely exotic Sunny garden.
After a whole day walking in the city it was very nice to sit in the sunny garden in the afternoon and relax.
we where with two coples so the two bed- and bathrooms were nice.
The hole apartment was luxery and goosy but we missed some trash cans in the bathrooms and kitchen.
Also the inventary of the kitchen was very poor, for example there was no real electric coffeemaker or hot waterboiler. We also missed information about supermarkets in the environment of the apartment.
It was near the Sint Pieter and Vatican but to go to the city you always had to walk 10/15 minutes to the bus and then an other 15 minutes to the Centre by bus.

The appartment is very well located,walking distance to Vatican City, but the best for us was the customer service high level, always in contact and willing to help even further than just the lodging matters, we highly reccomend to stay there. Thanks Ilan, Simon and Tatiana for your kindness!! For sure we will come back. Mexican family of four.

The apartment was located in a convenient location. We weren't happy with the hearing system, because the apartment was too hot and some of the valves on the radiators were broken. We couldn't turn or close the valves and the problem wasn't fixed during our week-long stay (despite requests). We were disappointed in the Internet connection (no bandwidth, weak connection). The adaptor provided didn't work, there was only one dishwasher pack provided, very limited number of towels, just sparsely provisioned.

The booking process was very good, but once we arrived, we were not satisfied with our stay at the property. 1) The company was 30 minutes late in delivering the key, so we were left standing outside in the cold with our suitcases waiting. 2) We rented this apartment over another that had a more central location because this one had 2 bathrooms. However, the primary bathroom was basically not usable. Although the company tried to fix it, the toilet wouldn't flush, and the shower and sink drains were consistently plugged up. 3) The second bathroom flushed, but to try to make it look nice, important functional aspects were overlooked: such as the fact that the shower would flood the entire bathroom every time no matter how careful you were and there was absolutely no room to put your towel when you showered. 4) The first night we arrived, the lights in the second bedroom did not work, so we had to unpack and do everything in the dark. Not pleasant after a long flight!
All in all, not very satisfied with our stay primarily because of the bathroom issue - which significantly impacted our four days there!Response from RentinRome.com - 12/20/2012

Unfortunately we found out that the toilet had trouble in flushing when you arrived at the apartment, now both the shower and the toilet have been repaired and to apologise for the inconvenience at the check in we did not charge the 35 Euro fee. We truly apologise for the inconvenience once again, but we really hope you enjoyed your holiday in Rome

Die Wohnung liegt fast direkt im Schatten der Mauer des Vatikan, sehr ruhig und trotzdem mitten drin. Die ausstattung ist hervorrragend und auch die Betreuung durch die Vermieter. Leider ging der Herd kaputt, während wir da waren und konnte auch nicht kurzfristg instand gesetzt werden.

Excellent stay in Rome, in the Vatican neigborhood.
On the left stand, the Vatican museums with their dignities and respectabilities, and on the right hand, the popular and exciting grove of the roman city.
Car is a plus, to avoid the sunny and hot walks to get to the tube.But you always meet a lot of people (local and tourists).
The check-in is very simple, and when driving through Rome, a cast member came to our rescue to guide us to the flat!
The flat is amazing, in fact more luxuous than described on internet! We had a wonderful time there and hope getting back very soon. We've already recommended it to our friends.

This apartment was in a great location for all the sites we wanted to see in the old part of Rome. Close to transport, markets, shops, parks, atms. The kitchen was a little low on equipment for us. We like to visit the markets and then cook but found it quite difficult - not as enjoyable as we'd like but adequate. The only real problem we had was we had to wait out on the street with all our baggage, kids and inlaws for nearly an hour before someone finally came and let us in. We'd been in transit for 36 hours and were exhausted and hungry so this was not the way we wanted to start our holiday! They were very apologetic and helpful once they arrived. They also have a very good booklet about the area, shops, phone numbers etc.

Apartment was good size, took a little while to figure out the clothes washing machine but got that working as well. Great location down a quiet side street less than a minute from Trevi Fountain.
Everything went smoothly with getting keys and would definately recommend the apartment to others. -
