Colosseo Patio is a wonderful apartment located in the very heart of Rome, very close to Colosseo, in the historic Monti area. Its best feature is a superb private patio where you will be able to stay and relax for your finest journey in Rome. One bedroom with double bed, one living with double sofabed, one dining/kitchen; the three rooms give on the private patio. One complete bathroom completes the apartment description.

Appartement très bien situé dans une rue calme, avec quelques restos sympas.
Mais il est très humide, salle de bain mériterait un bon coup de peinture, la chambre sent l'humidité.
Le pire c'est le canapé lit dans le séjour, impossible d'y dormir, nous avons dormi à même le sol sur le matelat hyper fin!!!
Des commentaires a ce sujet, mais pas de changement, dommage que le proprio n'en tienne pas compte.
L'acces wifi ne fonctionne pas -

I have gone over the word limit so I will try to leave this review in two parts - if it does not work then please feel free to ask me more questions about the other half of my review (the apartment itself, cost etc.)
Part 1/2
***the host***
Michel was very helpful before we came, he replied to emails quickly and answered all our questions. When the time came, he met us at the apartment and took us round to show us how everything worked. He also provided 2 contact phone numbers for us so we could get in touch with him if we needed help. He made a special trip to fix the Wifi and to bring it over to us. He kindly booked a taxi for us for our return trip to the airport (despite us phoning him quite late only the night before we were due to leave!).
On arrival we were quite early so the previous people had only just left, but Michel directed us to a supermarket and whilst we were out, the cleaners came and made the place absolutely spotless! The cleaner we briefly met spoke great English and was really friendly.
Michel speaks fantastic English (and Italian, French and Spanish also!) and he is local so he is the perfect host for your trip to Rome.
***the location***
The apartment could not be in a better location! It's so central to all the monuments. 5 minutes walk to the Colosseum, 10-15 minutes to the Trevi Fountain, 20 -25 minutes to Campo de' Fiori market, 30-35 minutes to the Vatican.
If you don't fancy walking far, there is a metro literally a minute's walk around the corner! (Cavour is the name of the stop).
There is also a supermarket and several smaller shops on the very same street. If you arrive on a Sunday and the supermarket on the road is not open then there are other supermarkets nearby, the nearest I was about a 10 minute walk away.
