Our wonderful Piazza di Spagna Apartment has been laid out and thought with a large number of windows. This feature helps in making the apartment very bright and sunny.
We believe you will have one of your most relaxing stays as the unit has all the requirements an apartment of The Key to Italy must have.
The apartment is composed of a large well-lit living room with a fully equipped kitchenette and is furnished with two sofa-beds, a dining table. The enchanting living room opens onto a large panoramic terrace with views over the beauty of Rome city center.
Two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, both provided with a shower,... are at your disposal. A small sitting room furnished with a sofa-bed is connected to one of the bedrooms on the mezzanine floor.
The apartment enjoys independent central heating system and air conditioners in all the rooms. The other important features included are a washing machine, two televisions and free WI FI Internet access.
The whole flat is finely furnished and fully equipped in order to ensure all the possible comforts. The apartment features two terraces. The first one one looks over the north (from here it is possible to see the architectural splendour of the church of Trinità dei Monti) while the second one looks over the south (from here it is possible to see many historic buildings including the Parliament).
The larger terrace, which can be accessed from the smaller living room, is furnished with a table and chairs in the case you would like to have breakfast here and can be shaded by a roller blind.
The apartment Spagna 1 is located on the corner between Via della Vite and Via del Corso, right in the heart of the city center and just 300 metres from the famous Spanish Steps.
It is located on the top floor of a delightful 17th century building, one of the properties of the Ottoboni dynasty, a Venetian family whose members included Pope Alexander VIII (1689-1691).
Due to its architectural value the building is a prestigious one. Altough it has not been possible to extend the lift up to the top floor (6th floor) (where the apartment is situated) the lift stops at the third floor leaving just three flights of steps to climb.
Additional amenities include: concierge, hair dryer, cd player, patio/deck/terrace, kitchen utensils provided, shower, iron, city view, bed linen provided, ironing board.
The Spanish Steps Area is located in an up-market area of Rome that joins the Piazza Di Spagna and Piazza del Popolo with the church of Trinita dei Monti with two recognizable twin towers. This beautiful and elegant area of Rome is loaded daily with people, designer stores and some of the finest espresso bars and restaurants of the city. It is also one of the best residential areas as well. You will always see people on the Spanish Steps abssorbing the lively atmosphere, the gorgeous scenery or just simply chatting.

The apartment was conveniently located and spacious, however the a/C in one bedroom and the shower in another bedroom were both broken. The rental company said they would give us a partial refund or pay our taxi to the airport, but they did neither, despite our multiple phone calls and emails to try to arrange this. Read more
Hi Elizabeth, thanks for you review. It has been unfortunate that the shower broke on your arrival, unfortunately such things happen I hope we managed in a way not to bother you too much during your stay. Our offer for a refund was meant in fact to mitigate your troubles. It's a pity that we couldn't get in touch on the phone, we tried several times on the Wednesday before you left and we might have missed your last minute call. We have sent you a souvenir gift to your home back in Boston. I hope you have received it, should you have any problem just let me know. Everything has now been fixed in the apartment, sorry for the inconvenient and thanks for your patience! best Giovanni
