The Tiberio vacation rental apartment faces the the Tiber River. This prized location means that nothing blocks the light that, for most of the year, is filtered through the leaves of the mulberry trees that line the river. Just a short stroll is the Via del Corso, Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps so you are only a few minutes walk to restaurants, shops, cafes. Two of our favorite neighborhood restaurants are just around the corner, a 2-minute walk.

Exterior

The stately building is typical of the Spanish Steps area, built in the late 1800s. The street parallels the Lungotevere, the streeet that runs along the storied Tiber river. These river-front apartments are special and much sought-after by Romans.

Interior

The Tiberio apartment was recently completely renovated so the layout and finishings are fresh and modern. The entry and hallway connects the living room on the front of the building to the second bedroom at the back with the kitchen, master bath and master bedroom.

The spacious living/dining area takes full advantage of the light that floods in from the Tiber facing French doors. When you open the doors, a railing gives a balcony effect. Furnishings are modern, bright and minimal. Clean lines, lots of white with bright color accents offer a pleasing retreat from the bustling Roman streets filled with art and antiquities layered on antiquities.

The long, comfortable L-shaped sofa will readily accommodate your party.

The glass-top dining table will seat 6 guests.

The galley-style kitchen with all-new appliances is fully equipped with large refrigerator-freezer, four burner induction stove top, electric oven, microwave, Italian and American-style drip coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes.

Retreat to the master bedroom for your rest. Like the living room, it is filled with light from the French doors which are equipped with sound cancelling glass for maximum quiet. Concealed lighting found throughout the apartment has a dramatic flair around the white headboard against a brown wall that echos an antique armoire across the room. You will also find a desk in this room.

Italian design is so evident in the bathrooms in this apartment. It has the latest in fixtures and tiles. Blue led lighting in the shower adds a cool touch.

The second bedroom faces the internal courtyard. Really interesting color selection of a dark lime green accent wall with a brown headboard shows an Italian flair. There is a desk recessed in the closet wall with good lighting and a nice painting. An en-suite bathroom has wonderful modern fixtures and the latest in tilework in a lovely plum color.

This well organized apartment appeals to families, couples and would work very well for a business stay, too. There is a local LAN as well as WiFi. Televisions with Satellite as well as local service in both bedrooms and living room. That will give you a few English language channels.

  Tibero was a nice and well located apartment. Apart from the kitchen being a little small it was very generous in size and had a nice design. The outlook was lovely over the river and the location was excellent. Make sure you only get your Gelato from the Venchi shop - you won't be disappointed!

  A Great Placfe to Stay

  The location was excellent, but I knew it would be. I'm very familiar with Rome and I spent a great deal of time choosing where to stay. The only place that was too far to walk to was the Vatican; otherwise we depended mostly on feet and buses, especially the 117 bus that runs down the Corso and around to the Colosseo. It's a good idea to buy an express bus ticket, which costs, as I recall, 16.50 euros and is good for three days. It is wise to buy tickets on line and in advance for the Galleria Borghese and the Colosseo. My cousins and I loved the apartment itself. It was roomy, with modern fixtures and lots of light.
  There are many good restaurants nearby; on the Passegiata itself there is a small buffet place where the food is very inexpensive. I recommend the Re Degli amici, on the Via della Croce, across the Corso, as well as al Vantaggio, on the Via del Vantaggio on our side of the Corso. These two restaurants are not gourmet places, just places where you can get well-cooked, ordinary meals.
  
  Of the restaurants on the Italy Perfect list, we ate at al 59, which is just around the corner from Tiberio, and were very pleased with the food, which for the setting and the cooking, was not very expensive. I myself ate at Gusto and was very disappointed. My first course was not what I ordered, although it tasted good. The main course was absolutely tasteless, and the dessert, supposedly a tiramisu, had never heard the word. The meal was expensive and I would not recommend it to anyone.
  
  The best supermercato, a ten-minute walk across the Tiber and along Cola di Rienzo, is the place to go for all kinds of food as well as excellent wine. There is an alimentario just one block up from Tiberio that is perfect for odds and ends such as soap, tissue paper and toilet paper.
  Yes, I would recommend Italy Perfect to anyone and also the driver Stefano. He drove us to and from the airport and most important, came on time for our back-to-the-airport trips.

  Tiberio is a beautiful modern apartment that is filled with sunshine during the day. The apartment is conveniently located and close to Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps. Twice on trips to Rome, I have stayed in Italy Perfect's apartments, and they are perfect. Their customer service is world class and the apartments are top notch.
  If you stay at the Tiberio apartment, try the Fraschetteria Brunetti restaurant just around the corner.

  Fabulous apartment in Rome

  We loved our accommodation - the apartment is very spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. The beds were extremely comfortable and we felt very safe in this apartment building.
  
  The location was very convenient; we walked everywhere in Rome, all the major attractions are very close. The surrounding area is quiet and very pretty, being right next to the river.
  
  Our favourite place (to eat) in Rome (we are a family with 2 children aged 13 & 9 years) was San Crispino (gelato bar)!! The most awesome, pure flavours! We visited San Crispino at Trevi Fountain and then again the one near the Pantheon.
  
  We are more than happy to recommend the services of Italy Perfect to our friends and will most certainly use them again when we're travelling.
