This brand new two bedroom apartment is located in the historical center, on Via Leopardi, 200 metri from Basilica of Saint Mary Major, in an old monastery just luxury renovated with one bedroom with double bed, one bedroom with bunk bed, living room with one double and one single sofa bed, large balcony with garden table and chairs, large kitchenette and 2 full bathrooms (one with Jacuzzi bathtub and one with shower). It is a 95 Square metres (1,020 SqFt) in size apartment, luxury furnished and fully equipped (air conditioning, WiFi Internet connection, telephone with free calls to European and North American land lines).

This was our first visit to Rome. We have travelled to many other parts of Italy and Europe. The apartment was very comfortable for us both, modern and very well equipped, handy to good restaurants and coffee bars, a fabulous cake store and a great bakery. It is also well placed to public transport and walking distance to many of Rome's fantastic attractions. Massimo arranged for our early check in and was available to assist with any matters with the apartment and recommendations on things to do. We look forward to going back to Rome and would definitely stay here again.

From our first contact with Massimo regarding the availability of the apartment to our departure with Patricia, we were treated with great customer care. We contacted quite a few apartments before we booked this one and out of all the people we contacted, Massimo was one of the quickest to respond. He was also courteous and was always very thorough with the information he provided on how to book the apartment, what the rules/guidelines were and how to get to the apartment.
We actually missed our flight to Rome, thus arrived much later than anticipated, but as soon as we reached Rome, we called Patricia from the airport, who was willing to work out a better time to greet us, even though her day was full with meeting other clients.
The apartment was about a 20 minute cab ride from FCO. On the way there, we passed by the Colosseum.
We found the apartment to be very spacious and clean. The two bedrooms and two restrooms were perfect for our group of three, as well as the fully equipped kitchen. We cooked breakfast and dinner in the kitchen. The apartment was very close to many restaurants, bakeries, and a few grocery stores. There is a safe in the apartment, as well as at the door to keep the keycard, which was extremely convenient (so that we didn't have to worry about losing the keycard).
When Patricia greeted us, she provided us with many recommendations on where to go and eat and also shared some of her favorites with us. Even though we arrived late, she still offered to take us to a grocery store, which was awesome. It helped us prepare for our next full day in Rome.
Location was excellent as well. The apartment was only about a 5 minute walk from the Vittorio Emnanuele metro (subway) stop, which was only 1 stop away from the main Termini. We practically got everywhere on the metro.
Again, we truly enjoyed our stay at the SMM. It was one of the biggest, cleanest and most conveniently located apartments that we stayed at in Italy. -

In searching for an apartment for our three night stay in Rome...we had one criteria...the apartment must have two bathrooms to accommodate our two teenage daughters!!! This apartment was perfect, it had two bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a common area with a couch and a chair. We loved the location as it was close to the Metro train station and we were able to walk to Rome Termini as well to catch the bigger trains. While in Rome we walked everywhere...we could easily walk from the apartment to all the major sights. And on the days when we didn't want to walk, we took the Metro.
The apartment was equipped with a washing machine which we used, as well as wifi (an extra charge).
The second bedroom had bunk beds which was great for the kids. That bedroom had some lighting issues which we addressed with the management.
The apartment did have a lift which was nice on the day we arrived with our luggage and on the day that we left with our luggage.
There was a supermarket one block away which we used. We were able to make ourselves breakfast in the morning (yes, there was a toaster) and prepare a lunch to take with us for the day.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this apartment to others travelling to Rome.

This apartment was just what we were expecting thanks to the great pictures and video. It was perfect for our family of 5. We found it very clean and comfortable. I really liked the wood flooring - no musty carpet smells. Everything seemed new, clean and well maintained. Location was convenient with several very good restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores nearby. We highly recommen itd. Patrizia was extremely helpful and friendly. Could not have asked for a better reception.

The SantaMariaMaggiore2 is everything that is stated on the website. Beds comfortable the apt. clean and the kitchen appliances all worked.Quiet deck at the side of the main bedroom to have that cuppa after a long day in Rome. Sign in for the keys Patrizia was very prompt and knowledgeable on Rome. The apt. is close to Metro just around the corner and 10 mins walk down to Colosseum through a nice quite park. I would definetely stay again.

This apartment was exactly as described. We were checked in by Patrizia who filled us in on so much to see and do in Rome. She was very passionate about Rome and we were very thankful for her suggestions. The apartment was quiet and very clean and near restaurants and supermarkets. We could walk around very easily. We will definitely stay here the next time we go to Rome. We also appreciate all of the help and information from Massimo.

This flat was nicely decorated with plenty of space and was very clean. It was ideal for a stay in Rome with children because of the bunk beds and two bathrooms. The central location was convenient, but it was also very quiet at night making for peaceful sleeping. The lady who checked us in gave us a great map with her personal recommendations on restaurants, gelaterias, and sites to visit in Rome. I would definitely return to this same place because the service was excellent and friendly and the flat itself is impeccable. Thank you for a great stay!
