Angel's Gate St. Peter penthouse is hanging on Borgo Pio entrance – pedestrian area -and has a panoramic terrace with rocking sofa and living area, overlooking the dome of St. Peter. Restaurants, supermarket and shops are down the street.
With a pleasant walk you can reach the Vatican Museums, St. Peter's Basilica, Sant'Angelo Castle and the Ottaviano subway station. The apartment is located in the historic area of BorgoPio, near Piazza del Popolo, Villa Borghese and Via del Corso, which are less than a mile walk.
Reach Angel’s Gate is very easy because we are right in the centre of Rome that is very well connected to the airport, train and bus station.
• Trains from Fiumicino airport to San Pietro Train Station (1.2 km walking from Angel’s Gate) run frequently and takes less than 1 hour. Depending on arrival time you have to change train in Trastevere Station.
• Shuttle buses from the airport arrive to Cavour Square (1 km from Angel’s Gate) are cheap than a cab that costs around 50 Euro.
• Ottaviano Metro A station is 800 m from Angel’s Gate less than 10’ walking

Our hosts alessia and Giampaolo were great and so helpful with all the literature and maps. We walked miles and took a million photos and loved every minute. Close to a good supermarket and just around the corner from a large selection of restaurants. Spent so much time on the terrace (even when it rained!!!) just watching the world go by. Tv's in the bedrooms and comfortable beds (much needed!!), everything was clean and welcoming. So easy to book - did the whole thing by email and were met by our hosts at the property. Can thoroughly recommend angels Gate and we will definitely be back.

I stayed here 4 nights in September. The owners were friendly and extremely helpful upon our arrival. The apartment itself is great -- spacious, very clean, well stocked, and the terrace is wonderful offering a beautiful view of St. Paul's Cathedral (which is, especially at night, pretty amazing). The location is very central. It was about a 5 minute walk to the Vatican and a couple more to the nearest metro station. Despite being so central it was very quiet in the apartment. I would highly recommending staying here and plan to again in the future when I am in Rome.

perfect location, supermarket and scooter rental around the corner, short walkway to St. Peter and Castel St. Angelo, lots of restaurants in less than 5 minutes, clean, beautiful terrace view...

We are a family with 2 kids (1 and 5 yo) and were looking for well-located mid-size apartment in Rome with easy access (due to using prams elevator was a must) for a 10 days stay. Angels Gate was a perfect choice - located in a slightly quieter part of Rome but walking distance from the very centre allowed us to make the best of our stay without a struggle of long returns home.
The apartment was clean (actually a 2ce a week cleaner service was included), well furnitured and with all necessary devices (including coffee machine). No washing machine though which was not an issue for a short stay.
Area is packed with restaurant but there is also a well-stocked supermarket and (highly recommended) traditional bazaar for those who prefer home cooking. Last but not least the owners were very helpful from the first email contact - they helped organise transport from the airport and spend all the time needed at the check in to make sure we are comfortable with the apartment and the area, they recommended restaurants, and suggested attractions for a party like ours. They also provided a selection of wines from local wineries at a competitive price :)
Overall a really nice apartment in great location for a good value - highly recommend.

The owners have made this appartment into a very homy place to stay for your romantic visit to Rome. They are both worldtravellers, but you also notice right from te start that they have a passion for renting this appartment. They have made it very personal, decorating every single room with very nice wall and ceillingpaintings. The absolute best is the terras with view on the St Peters, same goes for the master bedroom by the way. The other Room looks out over St angelo, also very nice!
Even on a rainy day we had a blast at the appartment. Wifi is perfect, calls to landlines in many countries is included! But mainly the homely atmosphere makes this a very nice appartment to return to when exploring and enjoying one of the most beautifull cities in the world:D
Does not matter if you are looking for a romantic place or a apartment for the family, this is the place
