The attic is on the seventh floor of a historical palace of the late 19th century. The apartment consists of living room, fully equipped kitchen on the veranda, 2 bedrooms (1 mezzanine bed), bathroom, two levelled rooftop terrace.
The elevated position allows to enjoy a great tranquility and yet to be in a very central area of Rome. You need a 5 minutes’ walk to reach the apartment from Termini station, that means directly from the track where the Leonardo Express arrives from Fiumicino airport. By staying in the Esquiline district you have a great opportunity to plunge into Rome’s daily life. A historic district where you can enjoy the architecture of the 19th century, its churches and its famous restaurants.
The park of Piazza Vittorio is a nice attraction, an alternative to the traditional tourist paths. In fact inside this park you can visit the MAGIC DOOR, not very known but very charming. Last but not least is the Piazza Vittorio market, one of the largest and most colorful markets in Rome. Built in the early 20th century in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, it was transferred in 2001 to a large indoor facility in the immediate proximity of the square. In 2001 the historical Ambra Jovinelli Theatre reopens and becomes one of the cultural centres of attraction of the city.

We spent a week in this great apartment and were able to walk everywhere easily or use the various forms of public transport nearby. The apartment is very quiet and comfortable (though the shower is tiny), and generously equipped for cooking, washing, good Wifi etc. There is a really good fresh market nearby, the
Nuovo Mercato Esquilino, as well as good groceries, cafes and restaurants. Carlo was exceptional in his thoughtfulness and personal efforts to make us comfortable. We were very sad to leave.Response from Carlo - 02/03/2013

We had the pleasure to be accommodated in the apartment of Charles.
Definitely two things to note: the apartment's location, very convenient because very close to the railway station (5 minute walk to get there) but at the same time central to places of historical interest (15 to walk to the Roman Forum).
The second aspect is the house itself, cozy, comfortable and quiet because on the seventh floor (with lift thankfully), the two terraces are very pleasant for an outdoor breakfast or a romantic dinner. The terrace above gives a panoramic view of Rome to 360 °.
Even the courtesy and helpfulness of Carlo is useful and enjoyable.
We hope to return soon.
