On the 2nd floor of an ancient building with elevator .It is quiet and with a lot of natural light coming from the windows .The entire apartment is designed tastefully with parquet wood flooring.The sleeping area houses a tatami bed and a wide wardrobe.The lving room is spacious and comfortable: relax here by listening to music, watching a DVD or planning your excursions for the next day.You can also find a comfortable double sofa bed suitable for the 3rd and 4th guest. Equidistant from the Coliseum and the Vatican, Trastevere is an ideal
place to discover the secrets of Rome on foot. Saint Peter's and the Vatican city are about twenty
minutes away and upon crossing the Tiber you get to Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, the Roman
Forum, and many other sights, all within 20 to 30 minutes walking. If you want to take public
transportation, the area is extremely well served by the electric buses of Rome.
A few blocks from the Galatea apartment, you can find the outdoor market of Campo de' Fiori, where
tented booths display a bountiful array of tantalizing fruits and vegetables, or the Piazza Santa Maria
in Trastevere, the most popular gathering place in the area.

Ciudad Realconvenient getaway to the Eternal City

I stayed in this lovely apartment wit my fiance for 5 wonderful days over the roman fall. It was so fantastically well located and in an ancient beautiful & fun neighborhood. Isabella, the owner met us on our arrival and gave us some useful tips, over the neighborhood especially some good restaurants and trasportations. The apartment is just as cozy as the photos and considering the lively area, quiet. It's located just a street from the Tevere River and you can reach all the most of Rome just walking.We really recommend this apartment with the only suggestion not to have a car. because it is really difficult to park.
In our next trip to the Eternal City, we definitely rent it again from Isabella
