Description from the owner
Anthurium is in Regola district, between Via Monserrato and the charming Piazza de' Ricci, few steps from the most famous IV Century's square of Campo de' Fiori: last example of Reinassance Romanity, in the heart of the Eternal City.
Anthurium is about 85 squared meters, at the first floor of a very ancient building. The historic wood ceilings, may let you forget to be in XXI Century. The two double rooms and the fireplace in the cozy living room may let you think to be in the mountain. The two luxury bathrooms may let you think to be in a four star hotel.. but the dining area facing the amazing small square of Piazza de' Ricci, reminds...Read more

New HampshireWonderful place to stay
Left on 03/25/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We spent a week at anthurium and loved it. The apartment is generously sized with two large bedrooms and two baths, living room, kitchen and a storage room. There is a washing machine but no dryer. It was clean and well equipped. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The Wifi worked well and very fast. Alessandro, the owner, was extremely polite and helpful in every way possible. The place is well located within walking distance of most historical sites. The ones a bit further away are easily accessed by buses no. 64, 60 or 87 which stop one street over and connect to the Metro and other public transportation. Nearby are the market at Campo dei Fiori, a grocery store and numerous cafes and restaurants. There is a restaurant below the apartment which can be heard until about mid night, but it never bothered us much.
There is a rather steep staircase into the apartment which was no problem for us, but it is worthwhile mentioning. We would recommend anthurium to anyone and hope to come back ourselves soon. -

We had a wonderful experience all around at this apartment. The apartment was updated and very clean-the kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary conveniences. The location is excellent. Central to everything in the historic center, and right above a very nice restaurant. Alessandro was a great host. He made us feel very welcome to the apartment and the city of Rome. He gave us great tips on places to eat and things to see and do during our stay. We will definitely be returning and give this apartment our highest recommendation.

BrisbaneGreat spacious apartment, walking distance to all Rome's attract

My partner, father and I stayed at Purple Home - Anthurium for four nights over Christmas 2012. Alessandro was great to deal with from the beginning via email and was always very quick to respond. We chose anthurium as was in a good area and was spacious. The photos don't lie, the apartment is very big and would very comfortably fit two couples or a family of four. We did also notice a fold out bed doubles as a foot rest in the lounge. We were a bit disappointed that the fireplace wasn't in operation while we were there, but alex (the owner) arranged a Christmas tree for us, and complimentary drinks on our arrival. We also found out the previous renters broke the dishwasher, but it wasn't a great concern to us. The beds and pillows weren't as comfortable as others to date on our trip, and with the restaurant downstairs it was a bit noisy at night. The shower with steam, spa jets, lights and a radio was great fun, you could stay in there for hours! Overall, I would definitely use Purple Home again as alessandro and alex made our stay very enjoyable.
