Elegant two bedroom apartment on the top floor of 16th century palazzo. The owner has furnished the apartment with important antiques and fine paintings and decorations from ancient and renaissance rome. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom two singles. The lving room can also accomodate two people on a sofa bed. The apartment has a kitchen ingeneously fitted into a 17th century armoir and there is an elegant dining room cum library filled with fascinating books on Rome. The bathroom has a shower/bath and there is ample space for clothes and storage. The apartment lies perfectly place in between the coloseum and... Monti area and is a short walk to the Quirinale, Piazza Venezia and the area surrounding the Spanish Steps. The location is within walking distance of the main station and easily accessible to bus through the city - although guests can easily get around on foot without having to rely on public transport. The Monti area is one of the remaining areas of Rome where the world of artisans shops still remain. There are a great assortment of one off shops and small galleries exhibiting all sorts wonderfully unique items. There are also fantastic restaurants and cafes serving classic Roman fine food. Just opposite the apartment is one of the best producers of handmade pasta in Rome.

"PEOPLE sometimes wander along Via Panisperna in Rome realizing they are lost, but not fretting about it. The view is divine from there, a slice of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore sandwiched between 19th-century apartment buildings, dilapidated palazzos, the elevated Church of San Lorenzo in Panisperna and stores like Macelleria Stecchiotti, a butcher shop selling some of the best meat in Rome. The owner, Pietro Stecchiotti, a neighborhood notable nicknamed “Pol Pot” for his occupation and ardent Communist politics, claims to have planted the vines that drape across Via Panisperna in front of his shop, framing a quintessentially Roman streetscape."

Confirmation and payment

We request a 50% percent depost on confirmation of booking and the balance 60 days prior to arrival of guests. Payment is to be made by immediate SWIFT bank transfer to account as specified at time of booking. In circumstances of cancellation by the guest we will make every effort to provide the accomodation at a later date obviously depending on availability.

Cancellation Policy:

The cancellation of a confirmed booking entails the forfeiting of all payments made. However, every effort will be made to find a replacement tenant, in which case the Client will be reimbursed pro-rata, minus a 25% service charge. If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.Special arrangements made for last minute bookings.

  This was our first time in Rome and we fell in love with everything. probably had alot to do with the our finding such a great place to stay for the ten days we toured Rome. After a few dramas with the apartment we rented in London it was a relief to walk through the doors of this great apartment. Everything worked and all the things on the listing for the property were actually available! We were so exhausted from our morning to evening walking tours that we had three dinners on the roof terrace of the apartment having bought some amazing food from a food delicatessan around the corner. We give this place five stars on all fronts!!
