Casa Melinda is located about 1200 meters from the Colosseum, near the Baths of Caracalla and the Circus Maximus, the Palatine and the Roman Forum, the Basilica of San Giovanni and Scala Santa, the Basilica of St. Clemente and near to Appia Antica.

In the immediate vicinity of the home side there are six bus lines that take you directly to the main tourist sites of Rome and about 12 minutes walk you can reach the station San Giovanni Metro line A (Stazione Termini, Piazza Barberini, the Spanish Steps, the Vatican Museums, etc.). At about 600 meters the taxi station and the hospital San Giovanni.

Near the house there are bars, rest...aurants, pizzerias, markets, shops, pharmacy, laundry, internet point, department stores and church. You'can also go jogging in the beautiful Villa Celimontana, physical activity in the nearby fitness center and play tennis Rome in the morning on weekdays. At about 1300 meters there is the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations).

Casa Melinda is a bright and comfortable apartment of about 90 square meters with parquet floor. It is located on the fifth floor with lift, completely restored in September 2012 with wood floor, consisting of:

• a spacious hall;

• a cozy living room with sofa, dining table, library with TV and a balcony;

• a first double room with queen bed, desk and large wardrobe with TV;

• a second double room with queen bed, desk and large wardrobe;

• two spacious bathrooms finished with linen and accessories, with all sanitary and spacious showers;

• a brand new kitchen with all cooking facilities, stove with four burners, dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, microwave, dining table and comfortable, .

Guests have free wi-fi internet, leaflets and brochures in English and Italian with several useful information for your stay in Rome.

The house is equipped with hot water around the clock, hair dryer, washing machine, dryer, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, centralized heating and air conditioning.

About 12 minutes walk you can reach the station San Giovanni Metro line A (Stazione Termini, Piazza Barberini, Fontana di Trevi, via Veneto, the Spanish Steps, via Condotti, via Frattina, via del Babbuino, Piazza del Popolo, via del Corso, via Cola di Rienzo, Cattedrale di San Pietro, the Vatican Museums About 600 meters in Piazza Tuscolo there is a taxi station.
Nearby are the bus stop of six lines. You can reach the main tourist attractions with only one bus. Line 81 to get to Villa Celimontana, Colosseum, Piazza Venezia (Via del Corso - Piazza di Trevi) , Largo Argentina (Piazza Navona, Pantheon), Piazza Cavour (Castel San Angelo), Via Cola di Rienzo (for shopping), Piazza Risorgimento (St. Peter - Vatican Museums). Line 118 to get to the Appia Antica Park. 218 line to get to the Catacombs of San Callisto and the Sanctuary of Divine Love Line 628 to get to the Baths of Caracalla, the Circus Maximus, Piazza della Bocca della Verita (Temple of Vesta), Via del Teatro Marcello (Synagogue), Piazza Venezia (Campidoglio- Musei Capitolini-Via del Corso - Piazza di Trevi) , Largo Argentina, Corso del Rinascimento (Piazza Navona - Pantheon - Campo dei Fiori - Piazza Farnese - Via Giulia).   We just came back from our one week vacation in Rome, Italy. We stayed at Casa Vacanza Melinda with my parents, my husband and a 19 months-old son.
  
  It was perfect in every sense -
  
  1) Beautiful and clean furnishings. Everything seems brand-new, and the furniture and art on the walls is much nicer than a typical rental. (And the apartment smelled so nice! No smoke or pet smells.) The video online gives an accurate picture of the apartment, but you will be pleasantly surprised at how spacious it is. The ceilings are high and the living room and foyer are both bigger than they look in the video.
  
  2) It is a convenient location. We walked to some sights (San Clemente, the baths of Caracalla, Colosseo, Roman Forum) and took the bus or taxi to some others. The taxi from the queues in Trastevere and at St. Peters costs around 10-15 euro. From the Spanish Steps it was closer to 20. And the apartment is in a very pleasant residential neighborhood with a couple of good restaurants and a Carrefour right around the corner.
  
  3) Very friendly and helpful owner. The owner was always on top of things. He replied to our e-mail right away, got a taxi for us from the airport, and checked if we needed any help by e-mail during our stay.
  
  When we got there, they were waiting for us at the apartment. So no wait time at all! And, they kindly prepared beautiful pastries, drinks, and snacks for us and for our son. Our son was running around the apartment, but they were so generous with him and put some protectors at the corner of every furniture so that he wouldn't get injured.
  
  They also give you every information you would need (maps, hospitals, restaurants, transportations - anything!) already ready for you when you arrive. Air conditioner, washer and dryer, and the elevator came handy while we stayed. We also noticed the neighbors you run into at the apartment are also friendly.
  
  We would definitely go back there if we can. And, we hope you can stay at this 5 star apartment!

  This apartment was amazing. Centraly located.Beautifully decorated and had all the convenience you would need in a rental. There were four of us (two couples). We all felt like this was our own home. It was also close to the metro (about a 15-20minute walk). There were several coffee places and pizza restaurants in the area but the best coffee was right across the street. You have to try the Napoli style pizza place on the way to the metro line. Incredible. Massimo and his family were very helpful with advice on what to see while we were there. Would definitely return.

  Four beautiful days in Rome

  We spent 4 wonderful days in Rome.It is due to the apartment Casavacanza Melinda.It is very nice, very clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need.The owners are very friendly and help you with everything you need.We were very well received upon arrival and we were given lots of helpful advices.It is very near the Colloseo and means of transport, less crowded area.We were also helping with the transfer from the airport.
  I recommend with confidence to choose Casa Melinda and not to regret.

  This apartment is very comfortable and bright. It's the best choice for tourists becouse is about 10 min. by walking to Colosseum and other important monuments, also the underground is not far from here(12 min. by walking). I'd suggest this apartment to everyone who wants to visit Rome!
