This is a superb apartment, well maintained, with exceptional hosts. Everything was exactly as advertised, and we had a great time exploring Rome from this base. Close to underground train stations on both major lines, on excellent bus routes, and within walking distance of the Colosseum, it is well located, but outside of the main city centre. The only downside is the lack of a separate living room/sitting room. But it's a sparkling clean apartment, and we loved it. Highly recommended.

Our stay in this apartment was great. We are very much particularly about cleanliness and the apartment was very clean which is a relief to us. Welcome snack and wine were also very delicious and appreciated. The location is very centralize near to almost all the place of interest and train station. We walk to the train station a few times and it took us around 20minutes to reach there which is not far for us. However as we are very light sleeper and maybe we are not used to staying in a busy city, we were often awake by the traffic noise outside especially the police alarm which is quite annoying.

Three of us stayed in this apartment and it was a wonderful experience. We each had our own bedroom and the apartment had two bathrooms. The apartment has a fully equiped kitchen and dining area. There were two metro stops within close proximity to the apartment making transportation a breeze. The owners of the apartment were so helpful, explaining where restaurants were located, helping us with transportation, explaining the workings of the apartment, and were the best hosts I have encountered in all my self-catering experiences.
I would rent this apartment on my next trip to Rome. I could not ask for a better location, apartment, close amenities and the best hosts.
I would recommend this apartment for a family or couples traveling together, or singles who would want their own bedroom. While two of the bedrooms faced the street, there was no street noise because the windows were double-paned. A plus for those who are light sleepers. -

This apartment was clean, safe and convenient to transportation. The bus line was located right outside the building and the underground was a few blocks away. It was within walking distance to many of the things we wanted to see in Rome. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and even a grocery nearby.
It has a small kitchen but it was well equipped,the dinning area was just adequate. The bedrooms were large and the building was quite for its corner location.
We enjoyed our stay and would rent it again if needed three bedrooms. -

The appartment in Via Labicana was simply perfect for our 2 week stay in Rome. 10 minutes walk away from the colosseum. Many other famous place in walking distance, too.
The busstop in front of the house was very
convenient.
We were three Swiss women who attended Italian
lessons at Dilit International School. We could either take the bus or walk to school. (25 minutes). When we arrived at the appartment we got a very warm welcome from the
owner family. Everything was so clean and tidy.
The flat was perfect for us because we needed
two bathrooms and three bedrooms.
We couldn't have found a better place for our
two week stay in Rome. -

Appartement très bien situé (à 7 minutes à pied du Colisée et à 5 minutes de Saint Jean de Latran). Deux stations de métro très proches (Colosseo ou Manzoni,ce qui permet de prendre la ligne A ou la ligne B).
L'appartement, d'une propreté irréprochable, est très bien équipé en appareils récents (micro-onde, machine à laver etc...). Seul inconvénient, la pièce commune qui se situe en fait dans le couloir d'entrée. Mais on peut très bien s'en satisfaire.
Les propriétaires qui habitent dans l'immeuble voisin sont très accommodants. -

We loved our stay in Rome, and one of the highlights of our trip was
the apartment. It was so close to the Colosseum that every time we
went out we were close to something we wanted to explore. The
apartment itself was very nice, and the landlords were very helpful. We
have recommended it to many of our friends. We would return to this
same place if given an opportunity. -

The online reviews about this apartment were refreshingly accurate (not always the case when booking online). When I booked the apartment I did have my reservations about the location, but the rental company and the owners both emailed me to reassure me that these were unfounded. The location turned out to be perfect, as my children were able to walk passed the Colesseum a few times every day, morning, noon and night (this was the main attraction for them, especially seeing it lit up) and not one rushed visit. The apartment was spacious and spotless and just right for my family. The owners (Paola and her husband) were there to greet us when we arrived. Paola was lovely, helpful and a genuinely friendly lady, so much so my children thought I already knew her.
Water, milk, wine and a delicious chocolate cake was waiting for us on arrival,a very thoughtful and welcome gesture.
If the next apartment I book is as good as this and the owners are half as friendly I will be very happy. -

We had three couples and there was adequate room for all of us. We were able to walk to many sites from this home, and if we couldn't walk we could catch the bus right outside the door.
There was shopping just steps from the door and many places to eat if we didn't want to eat in.
The owners live just two doors down the street. They are VERY helpful and hospitable and speak English.
This should definitly be a place to consider if you are looking for a place to stay in Rome. -

My family participated in the Rome Marathon in March of 2008. Our apartment was perfect for our stay. Not only were we close to the sights of Rome, we were within a short walk to the beginning of the Marathon. We had plenty of space for our 2 sons and their wives as well as my husband and myself. After the Marathon, it was wonderful to walk back to the apartment and not have to deal with any public transportation. The apartment was very clean and we were welcomed graciously upon our arrival. I would highly recommend this property.
