Left on 10/27/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We had reserved a 1 bedroom apartment, but upon arrival, they said something was wrong with the one we rented, so they had moved us to another, larger apartment in the same building. The apartment was huge so we were pretty happy with the space. The location is really great - just a few blocks from the Piazza del Popolo, with great shopping, transportation, and restaurants.
The apartment was modern and clean. The apartment is behind a gate and feels very safe. Keep in mind that even though there are plates, cups, pans and cutlery, there's not so much as salt and pepper in the apartment, so you'll need to buy all that stuff at a nearby groc. if you're planning on doing any cooking.
The biggest issue we had was with the wifi, which wouldn't have been a big deal, but we were really relying on it because we didn't have a phone. There were a couple of other issues, but they responded pretty quickly. There was some kind of construction going on (as there was everywhere in Rome) so if that sort of thing bothers you, you might want to find out in advance if it's finished.
