We found the whole set-up with the apartment, the "landlady" Ippolita, the authentic neigbourhood and the service from Roman Reference before and during our stay very, very nice and shall not hesitate to return.
The location is great. So close to everything. Lovely small shops of all kind and (as long as it lasts!) a great and calm atmosphere in the Via Urbana and surrounding streets (no street vendors pestering you...).
The apartment is no luxury; but it is very cosy and homely and contains all facilities one requires for running a holiday- household in Rome, where you spend most time outdoor anyway!
We have all been to Rome several times before and keep coming back. This was our first time renting an apartment though. We can highly recommend doing it that way.
We grab the opportunity to recommend the Maratona di Roma as well. A great and extremely well organised race. (18th March 2012 next time!)
