Washington DC, District of ColumbiaSmall studio right in the middle of everything
Left on 09/23/2012 for a stay in March 2011
This was a great location location right on Via Del Corso, but the overall space was a small studio. It was cute and charming, but without any relaxing space such as a couch, this is really a place to sleep, cook some breakfast, and then start exploring the city. It has all of your basic needs covered with a water closet, shower, bag storage area, bed, and TV...plus it has a cute little interior balcony. It was clean and they provided fresh linens halfway through our stay. The only issues were a lack of WiFi (although many shops out on the street offer free and open WiFi and the apartment was not advertised as having WiFi), no living room space (again, the apartment is exactly as advertised), and the shower drain cannot handle the volume of water from the shower if you take long showers...so you can be standing in water by the end of a 10 minute shower -- but that's not the end of time.

Westford, MassachusettsGreat economical base to explore Rome from!
Left on 08/09/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We spent 8 nights here while we climbed the 7 hills of Rome. It was exactly what we we expected; a tiny but fully functional apartment in the epicenter of Rome's retail district. We slept pretty well on a good bed; the nights were surprisingly quiet even though we slept with the balcony door and windows open each night, the cool nigh air flowing over us from the inner courtyard. Although I must admit an elevator would have been welcomed after a few 14 hour days of exploring the remote corners of Rome, and having to hunch over in the kitchen and bathroom and shower got a little old (just a tiny bit too tall, but I knew this going in), I have no regrets staying here. Our agent Raffaella was very helpful and our landlord Marcella was a love securing reliable rides to and from the airport. If a couple wants an inexpensive, centrally-located pad to crash in each night, they should consider staying here.

Dresdengreat place with little heigth
Left on 11/10/2011 for a stay in October 2011
all in all this place offers you pretty much all you need. it's quite and yet it is right in the middle of rome! the only problem is the heigth of the ceiling in the kitchen, bathroom and shower. if you're taller than 5'8" you will have troubling standing straight.

Flagstaff, ArizonaGreat experience!
Left on 05/05/2010 for a stay in April 2010
We received great service from the Roman Reference team. They even helped retrieve a lost piece of luggage for us, which was a major relief. The apartment itself is small, but had a great location. It was perfect for the two of us. We were able to do some cooking on our own and the small balcony had plenty of room for us to enjoy some fresh air. We were able to walk to all the major sites, and the metro was only a block away. We would definitely stay again!

Münster, Germanytiny and really great
Left on 05/29/2009 for a stay in August 2008
The apartment is really close to the piazza del popolo and therefore right in the middle of roman life. The windows open to the back, so don't worry about the streets noise. It is really tiny and people above 1,70m have to sit down during showering but it is clean, has all the appliances needed and gives you the oportunity to explore rome without having to take everything for the whole day with you. You can come back for lunch or a nap at the airconditioned apartment. We really enjoyed our stay!
But you need to bring a credit card or spare cash with you. upon arrival, you will have to deposit some money in case of damages. -

A small, but nice and quiet apartment, well situated. the welcome was warm and friendly. the kitchen is not only good for a coffee in the morning, you can cook i.e. small lunches. the fantastic villa borghese is nearby and very good for a morning run ....

G?teborgIn the heart of Rome
Left on 05/27/2009 for a stay in May 2008
The flat was small but OK for a few days, situated a few minutes from Piazza del Popolo which was perfect for us. Surroundings were busy during the day but quiet in the night.
When we arrived we were surprised that the lady letting us in also wanted a credit card number, we thought the deal was closed when we payed the rent in advance previous to our arrival. Anyhow,it was with an uneasy feeling we handled the key-holder our Visa and this was not negotiable. The water outlet in the shower was clogged and the flat were briefly cleaned. Despite these obstacles we liked the place, mainly thanks to the location and to our happy moods.
