      Central - quiet - perfect

Left on 05/17/2012 for a stay in May 2012

Service - brill - no probs during on line period, phone always snswered promptly - met at house and shown everything.
The apartment was nicely renovated and there was absolutely everything I could need including some basic foods and lots of cleaning products. It is very quiet as it faces the courtyard so sitting out o the balcony is a real pleasure
The location is central and on a pedestrianised road. There are frequent buses to all the main sights and plenty of [posh shopping nearby.
      Best - the balcony
Least - ceilings are low in kitchen andbathroom

To leave in heard of Rome.

Left on 11/01/2011 for a stay in October 2011

This flat is for people focused on Rome, comfortable sleeping and occasional cooking at home.
Just to enjoy the morning espresso on small nice balcony, before go out.
You have here all what you need, clean and sufficient for 2 person.
But even in case you will miss something, the moment you open the door to the street will compensate everything twice and triple. Just Rome in one step. This feeling is possible only here.
Via del Corso is one of best streets in Rome, full of beautiful buildings, perfect to search the city and nice just for walk (strong reduced traffic).
      Regards

      A small treasure!

Left on 09/14/2011 for a stay in July 2011

This apartment is a small treasure found on the exciting Via Del Corso; city center of Rome, Italy. Although the space is a bit tight, the apartment was cozy, charming, and the balcony was a delightful addition. I felt safe, secure, and at home and would certainly recommend it to other travelers (one-two people). Great service and helpful landlord! The apartment is very clean, too.

      Great location, value and comfortable.

Left on 08/07/2011 for a stay in July 2011

My husband and I stayed in this apartment and were very happy with it. While it is small, it is also comfortable, very well positioned and such good value for money. You can walk to the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon as well as other spots. Trattoria Gigi is nearby (we ate there 4 times in 5 days). Christian was outside waiting for us when our taxi pulled up and was very helpful. Great shopping nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

      A Real Taste of Rome

Left on 11/02/2010 for a stay in October 2010

Although we were indisputably tourists who spoke hardly a word of Italian, this apartment stay gave us the chance to experience Rome in a special way. The "slice of life" view of the courtyard from the balcony, the stovetop espresso maker, the Italian-only tv stations, shopping at a neighborhood supermarket, becoming regulars at the Piazza del Popolo cafes, cooking our own pasta at home, and a chance meeting with the lovely owner of the apartment, who went out of her way to help us book train tickets - all contributed - as did the daily gelato. Don't they say, "A gelato a day keeps the doctor away." ? Were you hoping to hear something negative? The only thing I can think of is that it would have been nice to have had an iron. Otherwise, the apartment functioned well and had everything we needed. This is basic and charming, not luxurious and indulgent!

      Functional and excellent situation

Left on 04/07/2010 for a stay in March 2010

I stayed in appartement via del Corso, 366, 4 end of March for one week. I found it very functional, clean and it march very well to description given by site. I was really nice suprised to find towels, hairdryer, umbrellas... It is situated in one of the most animated street with lots of shops, but it is not noisy at all. Situation is really perfect, everything is really nearby and no needs to take metro to visit main sightseeing of the center, and even can go to Vatican on foot. Also, for girls coming alone as me, no problem to come back home late. And I appreciated professionalism of Roman Reference.

great location with plenty of room

Left on 10/12/2009 for a stay in September 2009

The apartment was clean and had a well equipped kitchen. You can't beat the location. The only issue we had was with the showers - one had no hot water and the other drained SLOWLY.

      Great Location

Left on 06/08/2009 for a stay in May 2009

The big plus of this apartment is the location - a five minute walk to the metro at Piazza del Popolo and easy walking distance to all the sites, restaurants, shopping, etc.. Walk 10 minutes up the hill to the beautiful Villa Borghese.

We enjoyed our stay here due mainly to the fact that the weather was beautiful and we had a tiny balcony overlooking a lovely tree to sit outside and enjoy. If the weather had been inclement, however, we would have felt a bit claustrophic since we like to relax in our own space at the end of the day.

The apartment is small and the only seating area inside is on the bed. The bathroom is small but nice and the shower (at the opposite end of the room) has a very low ceiling so taller people would have to sit to shower.

If you are the type to stay out all day and simply return to go to bed then this apartment is great - very convenient and reasonably priced.

Cute flat - perfect in the centre

Left on 06/08/2009 for a stay in January 2009

We had a great week in Rome spending New Years Eve there and the flat was just perfect for the stay!!! It is quite small and the ceiling is a bit low in the bath - but still it was great for us. I can just recommend it. The guys were very nice and helpful - and there was already some stuff in the kitchen - definitely at any time again! Thanks!!!

      Who would believe

Left on 06/08/2009 for a stay in September 2008

We loved our stay in Roma, who would believe that with an address on Via del Corso that you couldn't hear any noise from the street. The location for first timers to Roma was amazing, within walking distance to everything, and great shopping right on the door step. The apartment was well stocked with basic essentials, it was clean and everything was as the website suggested. Our dealings with staff at Roman Reference was always prompt, friendly, and accurate. We would not hesitate to rent from RR in the future.

Perfectly situated Apartment with everything you need

Left on 06/06/2009 for a stay in July 2008

Perfect location (!) in the middle of the city centre --> close to most sights, a supermarket, pharmacies and lots of other stores.

Very nice landlord, well-equipped kitchen. Everything was like described and like expected.

Both, the landlord and "Roman Reference" were very friendly and helpful and always answered all of our questions before and during the stay immediately and professionally.

We had a wonderful time in Rome and this apartment. Thank you very much!

P.S.: Very tall people might find the lower ceiling in the kitchen and shower a bit inconvenient, but we considered it very fair and honest that the description of the apartment already says this - so for us, this was just another plus.

small, but nice and nearby everything you want to see

Left on 06/05/2009 for a stay in May 2008

A year ago we rented this appartment and had a good time over there. It's not a place where you can stay a whole day, because it's very small and has no convenient furniture. But to sleep and eat a small meal and a breakfast or coffee on the balcony it's quite alright. Also pleasant is that you sleep on the back of the building, so there's no noise from the street. Spanish treps, Trevi-fountain is very nearby and there are several nice restaurants in the neighbourhood.

When you are very tall, you might have problems standing in the shower, toilet and the kitchen, but otherwise it's no problem.

We stayed there for a week and can look back on a very nice time in a beautiful city.

      Enjoy your vacation.

      Theo and Lucia

      Great Space

Left on 05/27/2009 for a stay in August 2008

As a teacher I have the great privilege of travel during the summer months. As a student of Italian language, culture and history I visit Rome every summer. I have stayed in this apartment for the past 5 summers. This apartment suits me well because of its perfect location in the heart of the city. It is close to the metro, shopping, and attractions. Every summer there are incredible events sponsored by the City of Rome in the Piazza del Popolo...a 2 minute walk at the top of Via del Corso.

The apartment is always very clean and extremely quiet. A perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. I have always appreciated the professionalism of the Roman Reference staff and the kindness of the apartment owner. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a unique Rome experience.
