This was booked through Roman References who provided amazing service. I would certainly look at them again for short term apartment rentals in other cities; we rented ten days. The agent we dealt with, Paola, couldn't have been more responsive. She did a fabulous job, even driving around to let us in when we accidentally locked ourselves out.
We loved the area our apartment was located in: a funky neighborhood with lots of interesting and affordable restaurants and only 600m from the Colosseum, the Forum and the Termini train station and a one minute walk to the Cavour Metro station. Also, good shopping for food basics and some interesting little clothing and other stores.
The apartment was roomy, clean and reasonably well equipped but the furniture was old and needed replacing or upgrading. In spite of being located on a narrow, one way street the windows sealed out traffic and people noise well. North americans will be less impressed with the apartment than Europeans I think but I thought the value was there when compared to hotel rooms in the area.

The apartment is very well situated in the nice area Monti. The street Urbana is a narrow Italian street, very quiet but full of local life with small shops and restaurants.
The apartment is nice with four beds in two rooms. The kitchen part is good, but the fridge is a bit noisy. There is an excellent stereo kit with some good music.
We strongly recommend a stay at Urbana 108.
nice apartment, great location

108 Via Urbana is a great location. It's one block off via Cavour, the busy main street that runs from the central train station to the Coloseum/Roman forum area. The apartment is an easy 15 minute walk from either, and Via Urbana is a quiet narrow street. There are also 4 very nice restaurants on the same block as the apartment.
The apartment was very nice, windows on 3 sides for some cross ventelation, and it's on the 1st floor (2nd floor American numbering), so not too many stairs to climb after a long day of tromping around Rome! The apartment was clean, functional and pleasant.
We'd stay there again in a flash!

The apartment is in an excellent position in the centre of Rome. Major tourist attractions in easy walking distance. Also, a lovely and fascinating area of 'local' culture. As an older woman travelling on my own, I felt absolutely safe and generally comfortable. Enzo at Roman Reference was helpful and welcoming: he made me feel at home instantly. The only problem I had was the very hard bed in the bedroom. I ended up sleeping in the loungeroom. Thanks, Roman Reference, for a wonderful holiday.
Very nice stay.

Nice, clean apartment within walking distance of most sights. Little noise. Landlord friendly and helpful. Bathroom could be renovated.
