This apartment was a great value with comfy queen bed, WiFi, kitchen, bath/shower lots of room for up to 4+ people. It is cute and spacious with a thriving (safe/quiet) neighborhood with great night life, restaurants, shops and a grocery store. It is just off a main thoroughfare and is centrally located in "Old Rome". It's a short walk from the train station (800m) and very close to bus stops, the subway, and the Colosseum. Everything (even the Vatican) is within walking distance. We booked through Roman Reference. They were very easy to work with. It was everything we had hoped for!

Lovely apartment with everything you need. All the rooms were clean.
Location is good as in the centre of Rome, about a 10 minute walk from the Colloseum. Also near the subway. Restaurant next door so there is street noise but nothing too loud (food is also pretty good!).
Wuold definitely recommend.
comfortable stay in the centre of rome

Nice and clean appartment in a cute neighbourhood nearby all the important touristic hotspots. Restaurant as a neighbour!!Grocery very nearby. For 4 grown ups who get along well it's fine. Kitchen chairs are not very solid for people who have a little bit more weight then average. Not too much daylight, but that can be an advantage during the summer. Very nice first stay in Rome

The apt was a good place to stay for those of us that travel to see the sites and need a homebase for sleeping and eating. The kitchen was small but adequate. The bedroom fine, the LR had the extra bed in the middle and always up, the sofa large enough for one to sleep on. Shower hose kept breaking. Overall clean but furniture very worn, old, and apt needs painting. Beware of driving to apt! Will get a ticket for being in restricted zone! Over $200. Came in mail 10 mo later. Location to metro excellent. One grocery store fairly close. Some restaurants nearby. Quiet neighborhood and felt safe. Overall a good experience.
Estupendo y tranquilo

Very good except for several lights which either didn't work at all or had bulbs not working, and the shower head which did not match the wall bracket and could not be placed in the bracket to shower! Travellers after a long hot day walking need a good shower. I know the water pressure is only fair, but the shower itself should work properly. We had 4 people, but only 3 wine glasses and no champagne glasses! Read more
Hi Laurie, We're so sorry to read your list of malfunctions!
Let me address them one by one. The two spotlights beside the bed have been removed because we couldn't get to fix them, we changed them. The bulbs on our inspection were all working only one needed a little screwing, sorry about that! The shower head and wall bracket are fixed now. There is plenty of wine glasses in the cupboard, so sorry you couldn't find them, we're just across the street please do come over and ask us the next time around. Yep, sorry, we don't have champagne glasses at the moment.
On the good side the neighbours found the keys you had lost on the street, shame we had already changed the lock by then which has costed us 100€. Also, they withdrew their complaint for noices they had pressed during your stay. And that's good news!
Thanks for sharing with us!

This is a wonderful apartment. Very quiet, conveniently located to public transportation and walking distance to main streets. Comfortable furniture and the best equipped kitchen I have ever seen! Excellent heating system made it very cosy. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a homemade cake! I highly recommend it. No downside at all.
This is an awesome little unit. Recommend to all

This unit is located close to the historic centre. Within easy walking distance from the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Roman Forums and Termini train station. The unit itself has all amenities including TV and great kitchen facilities. The unit is very clean and spacious, a great find!
