Paris, FranceIdéal pour découvrir Rome
Left on 08/17/2012 for a stay in August 2012

The apartment was fantastic, very clean excellent facilities and a good location.
The addition of an outside terrace was great for breakfast and dinner, while the jacuzzi in the bathroom was brilliant.
A supermarket and market are nearby to buy food etc.
The owners were lovely, stocking the fridge for our arrival with wine and some other treats.
On check-out we had a relatively early start and were brought croissants, a lovely touch. -

The location was great, easy to walk almost everywhere. To check in at 2 pm was not so convenient, my flight arrived at about 8 am so I had to kick my heels a bit. I wanted to find the place by public transport, it was a bit tricky, but worked out.
The flat was very nice, I liked being part - albeit for a short time - of the local population.
I can't wait to visit again. -

Torrance, CA, USAWonderful experience in Rome
Left on 09/15/2011 for a stay in June 2011
The apartment is in an older building and not impressive from the outside. But open the door and you are in a sleek elegant Italian flat with large balcony and a bath with Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. It's exactly as the pictures depicted it. The neighborhood is excellent with wonderful restaurants on the main street. 10 minutes to the Vatican and St. Peters and the subway stop is not far and will take you to the ancient areas.

Newcastle, AustraliaThe Beautiful 'Luna Ro'...
Left on 07/29/2011 for a stay in July 2011
This is a very well appointed apartment with beautiful decor, modern amenities and very importantly a comforable bed! From the time we arrived after a long drive to Rome, we were greeted by our 'meet and greet' person, with limited english, however she had in tow a young man that could speak a little and was also able to help with the suitcases up the 3 flights of stairs...so we were very grateful.
The partment has everything you could want or need for a pleasant stay in Rome...you have a great big bath and a shower...there is a great terrace to have nibblies and a glass of wine on to ponder your next move...it also has a washing machine so we did our laundry. The apartment is very close to the Metro rail system, so we could get around the city easily from here...only a few stops to the magor attractions...and you are literally behind the Vatican...wonderful hearing the bells toll!
There is a supermarket around the corner, parking for your hire car and restaurants close by. The best place we ate at was the 'Trattoria (milli) Pizzeria', just a block down the same side of the street you are on, going away from the roundabout, very friendly, reasonably priced, and local cuisine cooked freshly and great specials menu changed daily.
All in all we would definately stay here again. -

Enjoyed our stay in October 2010 at the Luna Ro. Apartment owner was fabulous and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a very clean, spacious apartment. Location was average simply because of the distance to the city center of Rome. However, great places to eat were nearby including a convenient super market across the street.

For a short stay in Rome for two people, this is an excellent apartment. The numerous little touches provided (sweets, cake, what to do info, mobile phone, toothbrush, slippers etc) set it apart from other rental places we've stayed at. And some outside space in a city centre is always a bonus.

From check in to check out it was magnificent! The owner is one of a kind - very gererous and helpful. The apartment is equiped wtih everything needed for a wonderful stay. We cooked many of our meals - enjoying the local fresh meats and vegetable. The subway is right outside the door as is a taxi stand. The terrace is a real plus. I broke my foot the third day and experienced the local hospital. Even that did not dampen the experience. We rented a wheel chair and my sweet husband pushed me around like a rented ""mule". It was a bit bumpy on the cobble stones!!! There are three flights of stairs to climb to get inside the apartment and it was difficult with the injury, but it was well worth the effort to retire at night to this lovely apatment. I would definitely stay there again. It is perfect for a couple. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. The bathroom is fabulous with the shower and the whirlpool tub. We were greeted with chocolates and wine and most appreciated was the breakfast items for us to enjoy before we could do our own shopping. There is a great fresh market just a few steps away. If you want to have a great experience then don't hesitate to stay at the Luna apartment. This March was warm with temperatures in the high 60 and low 70's F. We loved every minute of the vacation.
