    Additional Location Information

Monti is the name of one of the most ancient area of Rome. The name literally means mountains in Italian and comes from the fact that the Esquiline and the Viminal Hills, and parts of the Quirinal and the Caelian Hills belonged to this rione. The district is very large and very urbanistically composite, ranging from areas of intensive urbanization (such as that between the Interior and the Quirinal, with an axis of Via Nazionale, and all the buildings in Via Cavour) and the most recent areas as those between the Esquiline and Celio, on Via Amba Aradam).
Particularly appreciated from this point of view, and increasingly popular in recent years, is the area between Via Nazionale and Via Cavour (Via del Boschetto, Via dei Serpenti, Via Baccina and Via Panisperna ),the modesty of dwelling houses , the narrow streets, artisan shops, small shops seem to retain the characteristics of nineteenth-century Rome. The area, packed with restaurants, bars and many restaurants, gravitates on the square of the Madonna dei Monti, near of the church, which is still a gathering place for local residents and occasional visitors.

Thanks to its position, Monti is full of archaeological sites such as the Colisseum, the Trajan Forum, Nero's Domus Aurea, partof the Roman Forum and markets of Trajan.
Also, it's located very close to the Metro station Cavour (the one that precedes Termini Station (the main Metro and train station).

      Trendy apartment in great location

Left on 04/19/2013 for a stay in April 2013

We enjoyed our five night stay in this small but comfortable apartment in Via de Ciancaleoni, a quiet, cobblestoned street with no through traffic, making it quite unique in this part of Rome. The apartment's location is a big plus, close to the Metro, to the Colosseum and the Forum, but also very close to great bars, restaurants and boutique shopping in the little streets around the apartment. There is even an artisanal gelateria (Gelateria Fatamorgana) located a few minutes walk from the apartment in Piazza degli Zingari. Gelati this good is getting harder to find in Rome.

Our booking was handled with great efficiency and we appreciated having airport transport booked for us too. We made good use of the private rooftop terrace for relaxed breakfasts among the potted gardens and stucco walled buildings around us.

This is smallest of the apartments in this building. Small but great especially for the warm evenings when you can enjoy the rooftop patio which is private to the flat. Nice small kitchen for coffee in the am and quick meals. This is my favorite location in Rome. It is close to everything and quiet because no cars can pass on this street. The owner of the apartment has put a lot of energy into the details and comfort of these apartments. I have always had an excellent experience with the managment company so no issues with deposits, etc. Enjoy this flat. I certainly did.

      Highly recommend!

Left on 03/23/2013 for a stay in February 2013

I stayed here with by partner in February 2013. We arranged with only a few days notice. Marida was extremely accomodating, despite the short notice.

Everything in the house worked perfectly: wifi, air con (not that we needed it in February!), hot water etc. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and quite.

The apartment is very central, only a 2 minute walk to Cavour Metro (one stop to Termini) and 5 minutes walk to the Colosseum and the Forum.

We didn't make use of the terrace, as it was cold, but this would be lovely during warmer weather.

All in all, couldn't fault it.

Perfectly located, nice and quiet, everything was functional and practical. The weather didn't permit the use of the terrace, but it would have been wonderful to use it, as it's beautiful, and a peaceful rest after a busy day of shopping in Rome.
Great restaurants and facilities nearby, a 10 minute walk to the train station/metro (termini) where you can choose what direction you are going to. Walking distance to the Coliseum and other point of interest.

      Good service from Nostromondo Staff

Left on 02/12/2013 for a stay in January 2013

I would like to acknowledge the great service that I received from Marida, who works for Nostromondo in the booking arrangement for the Ciancaleoni Flat. I booked the flat for 3 days in early June 2013. A couple of weeks after paying for the deposit, two friends decided to join us for the trip and the Ciancaleoni Flat is not big enough for four people. Marida was most helpful to us in looking for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment from the Nostromondo properties, as well as from her contacts and colleagues. Despite her great effort, we found another apartment on our own. Marida remained polite, helpful and professional throughout. When she was informed of our decision to cancel the booking, Marida was very understanding, and started the process to provide us a full refund right away. We have just received the refund, and I want to take the opportunity to thank Marika for her tremendous assistance and very good service to clients.

January trip to Rome - just wonderful!

Left on 02/07/2013 for a stay in January 2013

Our trip to Rome was a short one this time - only 4 days. The apartment was very cute. It's small but adequate for a couple. The location is perfect - 5 minutes to metro with a good stair fitness possibility:), there are a lot of small restaurants around. The apartment was very warm and clean - with terrace as a bonus. Wi-fi worked perfectly. There are lot of brouchers about Rome in the flat - so you can also use them discovering Rome and make day trips.
Marida and Eleonora - thank you for all your support! We wish you a good year full of harmony and success.
Hope to enjoy our splendid Rome next time with a glass of wine on terrace!

Left on 01/06/2013 for a stay in December 2012

Our New year holiday in Italy and first time in Rome wouldn't be so great, if we stayed in another place. The location is very convenient, just one stop by metro from Termini station and in walking distance to all the famous sights. The flat itself is very modern, clean and warm, which was very important for us. The terrace is a pleasant bonus for those who stay here in summer months. The managers of the apartment try to do their best to make your stay in the apartment a pleasant experience. We had some problems with wifi connection, but inspite of the holiday time, it was resolved quickly and efficiently. Marida and Eleonora, thank you very much and happy New Year!

The whole experience of this trip wouldn't have been the same without this wonderful apartment. My mom and I stayed here for 11 nights in late October/early November and loved every minute of our stay. Rome is amazing and the Monti district where the apartment is located is so cool!
Simply, I would recommend this clean, well-equipped and comfortable apartment to anyone. And, the terrace is a wonderful bonus.

Left on 11/27/2012 for a stay in October 2012

My daughter and I stayed here Oct 26 - November 6, 2012 and it was perfect. It's private, quiet, affordable and we loved the Monti district of the city. The nearby restaurants, grocery stores, historical/culture attractions, and shopping right outside our door were all fabulous. Except for three day trips out of the city, we walked and explored this amazing city everyday. We're thankful we had plenty of time in Rome to start to appreciate all there is to experience.
Marida was a great host! She arranged an airport pick-up and return, which was a great convenience. She also solved a water problem at the apartment in record time.

Comfortable and quiet apartment in the centre of the city

Left on 10/16/2012 for a stay in October 2012

First of all we had very warm welcome and wonderful introduction from Marida. She supplied us with city map and explained what to see and do in Rome and where to find best shops and restaurants. All her recommendations were excellent. Marida booked for us Borghese Gallery and bought tickets for Vatican museum. It was great!
An apartment is located in a very quiet and safe street just two minutes walk from Metro station and walking distance to all main attraction. We walked everywhere and always could come back to our apartment for a little bit rest. Grocery shop is just two minutes away and plenty of good restaurants around.
The apartment is very clean and modern, has good equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, safe and even its own terrace where we could have cup of coffe in the morning and glass of wonderful Italian wine at night. We traveled for four weeks around Italy but this apartment in Rome was our best accommodation!
We really enjoyed our time in Rome.

Three comfortable nights in Rome's historical Monti area at the Ciancaleoni Flat. Would definitely stay again. Felt like we were really experiencing a Roman neighborhood rather than a standard hotel. Booking and contact was handled very efficiently by Marida. Would recommend a cell phone for contact once in Rome as there is no onsite contact. We used email which worked okay. Would also recommend the little restaurant at the bottom of the steps around the corner...wonderful pizza and pasta. We ate there every night! Amenities and location excellent.

Great place to stay in Rome

Left on 09/03/2012 for a stay in August 2012

This is a great place to stay in Rome - perfect for a couple to spend one or more weeks. We would happily return to this well-situated, well-appointed apartment. Even if this apartment is not available, we certainly plan to use Nostromondo (the agency representing this apartment) for our next visit to Rome. First the highlight, not only of our time in Rome, but of our entire month in Europe - on the second night, the Nostromundo staff prepared dinner for us, made in another apartment in the building and served on our roof garden terrace. The chef, Loic, prepared appetizer, pasta, main and dessert courses for us, accompanied by wine - each dish was exceptional and Kim discussed the details with Loic, with plans to recreate them at home. This was an experience we have not had anywhere else, one that made our visit unique and memorable. But even without the dinner, we give this apartment five stars, two thumbs up, our best rating - this was an absolutely delightful experience in every way, exceeding our expectations.
We took the recommended airport cab service and are glad we did.
The experience is so much nicer than a hotel - we really felt as if we had a home in Rome. The apartment is a reasonable size for a studio, looks nicely decorated (as in the pictures) feels modern, and is very clean in all areas. Wifi is available, if occasionally erratic.
For our one week stay, a change of towels was provided, and they were the best towels we encountered during our vacation - large and fluffy.
The bed is comfortable, and we slept well every night.
The private terrace really sets this property apart from others. We were able to enjoy the terrace every day, thanks to the warm and sunny weather during our holiday. We ate breakfast, read guidebooks and enjoyed campari sodas outside - a real luxury that made our stay even more special and pleasant. Inside and out, we felt at ease and at home, enabling us to experience Rome more like residents than tourists.

Loic pours wine for Kim during our rooftop terrace dinner. The highlight of our trip.

We recently spent a few days in this lovely flat while you were visiting Rome. The website photos reflect what it looks like very accurately. The flat was well-appointed and the bed was very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor terrace in the evening. The location was exceptional and we were able to walk to most venues or if needed, take the subway which is just down the street. A grocery store is also very close. Marida was extremely helpful prior to our arrival, arranging for airport transportation, Roma passes and very timely in responding to any of our requests. Stephano was very welcoming upon arrival and provided us with many "tips" on visiting Italy and his suggested restaurants were fantastic - the one down the hill was the best of all! We would highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to return.

Left on 06/02/2012 for a stay in April 2012

Overall a great little place to call home for a few days or a week. It is a bit smaller than you would think by looking at the pictures, so I was initially a bit disappointed. (We have rented in Europe for the past three years so I had some expectations based on past experiences.)

That said, I grew to love it. The location was fabulous...historic sites and great restaurants are nearby as is the Metro...and the apartment had everything we needed. We spent a lot of evenings on the deck with wine and cheese from a local store.

The rental process was easy and the communication good. We took advantage of their offer to set up transportation from the airport and were very happy that we did.

      Positive things:
Great location as it is close to the Colosseum.
There's a supermarket like 5-7 blocks away where you can buy what you need to cook.
We were received by the owners' son and everybody was friendly.
The day of the arrival, the key to the deck got broken but the fixed it the next day.
It has a very well equipped kitchen. I think they need a juicer.
They have an elevator which was perfect because I have bad knees.
The deck was very nice as we had breakfast there several days.

Not so positive things but I could live with them:
      Very small closet space.
No place to put the mop (as we did our own cleaning while we were there) but inside the tiny closet with the clothes
      No cleaning supplies

      Things to improve:
A bigger fridge. This one is very small.
Better cleaning. i am very picky about cleaning and the kitchen walls were dirty and the floor was dirty as well. I walked with no shoes for a few minutes and my feet got very dirty.
A better storage for the toiletries.

I would definitely stay here again with no hesitation but I would ask for a perfectly clean place before getting there.

We usually stay near historical centre of Rome, but were attending a course near San Giovanni in Laterano and wanted to stay between this area and historical centre. The flat was very nice, clean and spacious, and staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The area is very quiet and we slept with the window open every night. We loved the terrace and had every breakfast and lunch there. We will definitely book this flat again!
A tip: Our map advised us to go down Via Panisperna to get to historical centre - we found that it was very easy to go down Via Milano, cross Via Nazionale and go through the tunnel to Via dei Tritone and would recommend this route. It is also very easy to take the bus no 64 from many places in the city to Via Milano if you don´t want to walk all the time.

Cozy and charming flat nested in an area close to the Colloseum

Left on 05/08/2012 for a stay in April 2012

My husband and I stayed at the Ciancaleoni flat in april 2012 for 3 nights. We had an amazing time in Rome and the flat made our stay very comfortable. We are very pleased with Marida's service all the way from the booking process, welcoming us in Rome and checking out. She has been very helpful with all our request of paperwork for our Visa application as well arranging for last minute transfer. The flat is as described and pictured on the website (if not more!) - a truly charming combination of old historical building exterior with stylish and chic renovated interior. The flat have pretty much everything we need to make our stay comfortable (secure lock on doors, TV, Wifi, built in safe, mini kitchen etc),and its located conveniently close the Colloseum and a train station. We love everything the flat has got to offer and couldn't have picked a better place to stay in our first time trip in Rome. Thanks Marida and we sure hope to see you again in the future!!

Perfect Flat in the heart of Rome!

Left on 04/25/2012 for a stay in April 2012

My husband and I stayed at this great little flat for our first trip to Rome. It was perfect! We were looking for something for Easter weekend, which means crazy rate hikes. We found this cute, modern, and affordable studio which was perfect for our four nights in Rome. The place was spotless when we checked in, and Marida and her staff were very helpful in moving up our check-in time when we caught an earlier flight.

The bathroom and kitchen are newly updated. The kitchen has everything you's need, which for us was just a refrigerator. Why cook at home, when you have amazing restaurants at your fingertips! The bed is a little too firm for my taste, but not uncomfortable. I find it hard to find good beds in Europe, and this was better than most.

The location is a short walk from the Palatino and the Colosseum. It is not in the super crowded areas near the Trevi Fountain or the Spanish Steps, but it is only a few block from the Metro. We liked the neighborhood, and never felt unsafe at all. It's a 10-15 minute walk from Termini, which is convenient, and it's not close enough for some of the grittiness of that area. The little terrace was a great perk, only if the weather was a little warmer, we would have been able to get more use out of it!

Overall, we loved our stay and would stay here again in a heartbeat. It's great for couple or a family with a small child. The flat is one floor up, but there is a lift. Thanks again to Marida and her staff- we had an excellent stay!

I have nothing but praise for the Ciancaleoni Flat. The location was perfect, about 3 minutes walk to the nearest Metro station, with shops and restaurants all in the vicinity.

The flat itself was very well equipped with whatever we needed for our one week stay in Rome. It was a bit too cold to use the terrace on most days, but when we did, it was an extremely pleasant experience.

Lastly, Marida was friendly and prompt in her emails before the trip and when we actually made it to Rome, she spent a great deal of time explaining how the things in the flat worked as well as tips on exploring Rome.

All in all, this flat is highly recommended.

Lovely little apartment, tastefully decorated and furnished with all modern amenities and access to a delightful terrace with a comfy sofa; very relaxing and quiet - no traffic noise. Car transfer to and from the airport was arranged by Marida and was prompt and courteous - much easier than battling with trains and directions! Large supermarket opposite the Metro station (go to the station, up the steps and across the road) about 3mins from the apartment. We took the Metro once to the Vatican but otherwise walked everywhere else - Colliseum about 8 mins, Spanish Steps about 20mins. The apartment is situated in a picturesque part of the city with narrow, cobbled streets, each with bars and restaurants so no problem finding somewhere to eat! Would have liked some English channels on the TV but you can't have everything!! Would definitely recommend as a base for seeing the sights of the Eternal City!

Ps: One warning - we travelled on the Metro at rush hour with some friends, it was incredibly busy (makes London Underground seem quiet and sedate!) and 2 of our friends were pick-pocketed so beware!!!
Pps: Does no-one in Europe use a kettle??? We've never had one in any of the rental places we've been

A pleasant stay, a wonderful experience and a great host!

Left on 04/07/2012 for a stay in March 2012

This beautiful flat is excellent both for its location and its charm. You will find a nicely dressed table, a side kitchen with dishwasher, cook top, microwave and fridge. The bedroom is large, bright and modernly decorated. There is also a wardrobe and a locker. The bathroom looks like rustic with its stone walls, but very elegant and modern as well. It's great having a shower after a "tiring touristic day” and then relaxing in the terrace with a glass of wine. We loved the atmosphere of the apartment, the area, the typical shops and we appreciated that characteristic neighborhood.
The staff cannot be more kind and thoughtful. From the first contact to the check in time till the end of the stay, the ongoing assistance was very helpful and pleasant. The reservation you make online is a very simple process. After securing your reservation, you will be contacted approximately one week prior your arrival to define final details and to reserve a private transfer from the airport (I did). Upon arrival you will be warmly greeted by Marida's friendly hand and introduced in the apartment. Let me say that it is even better than photos. Explanations about the area and the main sites are clear and helpful. Also, you will find a form with all instructions about the apartment.
Thank you for our unforgettable stay in Rome!!!

My sister and I were in Rome for our first time and we loved the city. We don't like staying in hotels, so we opportunely booked this apartment in a very central accommodation.

The photos describe it all: the flat is fully furnished and ideal for a couple. Comfortable bed, clean, fully provided kitchen, although very central located no traffic noise, nice relaxing balcony, and wireless internet. We strongly recommend this apartment to enjoy Rome easy going. Helpful and available personnel!

We were greeted at the airport by the airport transfer that was arranged by Mirida. When we arrived at the flat Mirida and her partner met us in the laneway and carried our bags to the room. They were very courteous and allowed us to store our bags in the room even though the room was not ready yet as it was still being cleaned.
The apartment is small but clean and well located. It is only a 10 minute walk to the colesseum and 15-20 min. walk to most of the other attractions. Ternimi station is less than a 10 min. walk as well. There are many resturants and grocery stores in the area and we always felt safe walking through the neighbourhood. The value for your money can't be beat. The only negative is that the internet connection is weak and slow but I am not sure if that is normal for Rome? All in all I would reccommend this flat.

The room Walk 2 blocks from the apartment and turn left and this is the coluseum in the distance. Only a 10 min. walk. The cute street where the apartment is located.

I loved staying in Ciancaleoni Flat for several reasons. The location itself is great, within walking distance one can find the Colosseo area as well as Termini Railway Station, not to mention the cute Monti area with its lovely atmosphere where the flat can be found. The flat is clean, with all the amenities one can expect either for a shorter or a longer period of stay. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave owen, dishwasher, cutlery, cofee maker etc., the room facilities include tv, radio, air-conditioning with a comfortable double bed and a big window that makes the room quite bright. It is nicely decorated, I would say it is ideal for 1 or 2 persons and I would definitely stay there again!

Great location and great staff, but not without caveats.

Left on 01/08/2012 for a stay in January 2012

My boyfriend and I decided to go to Rome to celebrate the New Year and wanted a central location - within walking distance to the attractions and/or metro. The Ciancaleoni Flat provided exactly this. It is within walking distance to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Venezia and even Trastevere (if you don't mind a longer walk). Set on an interior, private street, the apartment is insulated from much street noise and traffic which makes it very quiet, but it is remarkably close to many fantastic restaurants and shops. The apartment is clean, and comfortable - the perfect size for a couple seeking a short getaway. The apartment has a large and very beautiful private terrace, which is clean, ideally decorated and secure. It is perfect for dining or having a glass of wine. The booking process is very efficient and Marida was very nice and responsive to inquiries regarding parking and arrival. Upon arrival, Sylvia was equally pleasant and very helpful in giving us advice and recommendations for shopping, dining and entertainment, in addition to an interesting history of the Ciancaleoni Palace. They were both the consummate professionals.

Although our stay was primarily positive, there were some drawbacks worth mentioning.

The shower was very small - which made it difficult to shower without touching the shower walls and doors (may be typical of Italy), and the hot water was not sufficient to accommodate 2 people. On 2 of our 4 days, we ran out of hot water; once when we showered immediately after each other (not enough hot water for my boyfriend to shower fully); and, a second time while I was showering and my boyfriend was washing 2 glasses in the kitchen. Also, even though there is wireless internet, the signal is very weak. Most times, we could only get 1 or 2 bars inside the flat. Finally, while the rental price was reasonable for the accommodation, I am not sure why we were charged a 20 euro early checkout fee to simply lock the door and leave the keys inside the flat (the same checkout process employed by a company we used in Venice - but without a fee).

Overall, I would recommend the flat for short stays, with the above noted caveats. I would have given the apartment 4 stars, but for the hot water problems and the shower size.

      Dear Cheryll,
Thank you for your review and advice, it helps us to better our service.

We are glad you and your boyfriend found CIANCALEONI FLAT a comfortable accommodation and we do thank you for the praise you made on the apartment, its location, its central neighbourhood and the picturesque area in which it is located. NOSTROMONDO® Staff is also grateful for the appreciation you showed for our service.
Nevertheless, we’re sorry you experienced some issues with the boiler that never happened before. All our previous Guests totally complimented us and hot water was never a problem. Anyway, your advice will be used promptly to repair or replace the current 60 lt boiler.
Regarding the wi-fi, although the average signal is 2 out of 5 bars, the connection is working properly. I can imagine that you probably suffered high traffic on the band due to Christmas Holidays.
Finally, I’d like to clarify that the additional fee (20€) for early check-out is pointed in the rental policies you signed and due to the fact that when you leave the apartment very early in the morning, with no standard check-out that normally happens after 8 am. , a delegate is sent shortly after to verify the status of the apartment.
Since Customer Satisfaction is the pillar of NOSTROMONDO® philosophy , we hope to host you again, and we’re sure you will fully enjoy your next stay as all our Guests usually do.

Beautiful flat, very reasonable price, conveniently located

Left on 11/08/2011 for a stay in September 2011

My wife and I really enjoyed the flat. It was the right price and was conveniently located to good restaurants and a train station.

Sylvia met us the day of our stay to help us check-in, walk through the apartment and make sure we were settled. She also arranged for a car on our departure day, which was extremely convenient.

The flat was in excellent condition. Because the kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware, etc. we were able to save some money by eating breakfast and lunch in the room on some days. The terrace was a great place to sit in the evenings with a bottle of wine and watch the sun go down.

My only complaint was the lack of wireless in the flat. There was a coffeehouse nearby that had wireless, but we didn't feel like making the trek down there (or hauling our electronics to dinner).

Overall, I would definitely recommend the flat to someone who is looking for a place to stay that is centrally located, low cost, clean and in a nice neighborhood.

Excellent location for exploring ancient Rome

Left on 11/07/2011 for a stay in November 2011

We were met at the Flat by the lovely Silvia who greeted us with open arms and a huge welcome. She gave us directions to various shops and restaurants as well as some very useful information on the area. (She also arranged a car to take us to the airport at the end of our stay). The Flat was absolutely everything we wanted - and the terrace was a real bonus. It is situated in an excellent location for exploring ancient Rome...with the Colosseum being just a 10 minute walk away! Most of the more popular landmarks were also within walking distance from the Flat - but for those who prefer public transport - the nearest Metro station was just 5 minutes away and only one stop from the Termini. The street was very quiet with no through traffic which made it very relaxing, with no disturbance at night. There is an excellent supermarket called 'Elite', in the street above the Metro Station, which stocked everything we could possibly have wanted for our stay. There is also a great restaurant called 'Cantina' at the bottom of the steps, at the end of the street, where you can either book a table or, do as we did - and get delicious Italian meals to take back and eat in the Flat or on the terrace! The accommodation in the Flat was perfect, with a well-equipped Kitchen and stylish Shower Room and everything was spotlessly clean. We had a wonderful 5 days in Rome and would definitely recommend this Flat to both family and friends. We would like to say a personal 'Thank you' to Silvia for all her attention and kindness throughout our stay. It made all the difference!

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in april. For the price, this is one of the best accomodation options in Rome. It is conveniently located near trains, etc. The surrounding neighborhood is great. The apartment is well appointed and laid out. We also dealt with Francesca who was great. It was like living in Rome for a short period instead of being there on a holiday. Our only complaints, and only reasons for not giving the property an excellent rating, were that we felt a more comprehensive guide to the immediate surrounding area should be included in the room for guests and the bathroom, being an interior, was a little damp and showing some watermarks. Don't get me wrong, Francesca is always available and did give us some pointed when we arrvied, but we missed a marked map, restaurant and shop recommendations, etc. More of these details would have been great, but this is a small thing to complain about, otherwise I would highly recommend this property.

Some suggestions that don't relate to the flat - eat at the restaurant at the bottom of the steps! It's amazing!! As well, the Ivanhoe Cafe (a little further down the hill) is a great place for breakfasts. There are business cards in the flat as suggestions, but the Ivanhoe Cafe doesn't have a sign...it's in the hotel at the bottom of the hill.
Lastly, the Elite grocery store was excellent. It was just up the stairs at Carvour station and across the street.

The apartment was gorgeous, we would love to live their which is a sign of how much we liked it. It's perfect for two. It's really close to the local metro stop, which allows you to get to all of the main attractions quickly. It's an easy walk in as well. There's a lovely coffee shop 2 mins away that do a lovely illey coffee and croissant. We liked the terrace the best. The least was that we couldn't stay longer and a minor thing is that there weren't any tumblers / mugs for drinks, just wine glasses.

We stayed in this fantastic little apartment in august 2010 and couldn't have wished for a better experience. Francesca and Laura were very helpful and super lovely - providing us with everything we needed during our stay. The apartment is located a little bit out of the touristy part of Rome which was perfect for us, this meant we were able to escape the crowds and get a peaceful nights sleep, while still being able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We would totally stay there again. Thank you Francesca and Laura!

      Lovely apartment, terrace and area

Left on 09/04/2010 for a stay in August 2010

This was a lovely little apartment and had everything we needed. We had originally wanted an apartment near the Piazza Navona and were changed to here at the last minute. We were actually really pleased we were changed to this area. We walked from the train station, in fact walked to almost everything. Close to the Colosseum and other sights, but also felt nice and quiet. Lovely to walk to the end of the street down the steps to more cafes. The little terrace was lovely to sit at the end of the day. Laura and the staff were really helpful with all emails and phone calls answered promptly. A really enjoyable experience.

I would return here in a second!

From the fantastic communication with Francesca (who went above and beyond in answering questions and providing information prior to arrival)to the location, to the local sights and sounds, this couldn't have been a better choice. I was delayed after my flight and Francesca not only orchestrated my arrival at the flat with a taxi driver, but she remained so gracious even though I delayed her day by at least 2 hours. The terrace alone is worth the price of the flat and it was a great place to unwind after a great day of sightseeing! The flat is surrounded by character-filled eateries, grocery stores, an internet cafe, and is just a few minutes walk from Cavour station. There's even an Irish bar 5 minutes away on foot! I look forward to returning...

We had a wonderful stay in Rome, the flat was small but very good, but the bed was a little too hard. The location was perfect we could walk to almost everything we wantede to see. And with a metro station only 2 minutes away, it was easy to go even further away.
We had a lot of questions before the stay and our mails were answered immediatly by the staff, first Roberto later Franceska. That ment a lot for us.
