Incredible Rome in March!
Left on 04/25/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Perfect location, wonderful accommodation, lovely host. I could not find any downside. Close enough to some of the most breathtaking attractions. The .apartment was like a home away from home ,Beautiful and tasteful decor and all mod cons including furniture and WiFi. The apartment was kept spotless and Rosaria went out of his way to be - helpful. Would not stay anywhere else in Rome highly, highly recommended. Thanks for all your help Rosaria. Bye

New YorkFantastic location
Left on 01/20/2011 for a stay in December 2011
Trastevere is a fabulous neighborhood and this apartment is right in the heart of it. Lovely small shops, restaurants, and a beautiful church are all just outside the door. The narrow cobblestone streets are wonderful for strolling and getting lost, because you always discover something new. The apartment itself may seem a bit old by american standards, and the bathroom is a bit small and cramped, but angelo goes out of his way to help out. There is no telephone and the TV doesn't do much, but there is such a great neighborhood outside the door that there is no reason to stay inside anyway.

CairoRoman holiday jackpot
Left on 11/17/2010 for a stay in November 2010
What a gem of place Rosaria rents out and in such a great location too! We coundn't have had a more Roman Holiday had we tried! From the second we stepped in through the doorway to number 12 on via della Scala and saw those stairs leading to the apartment we were charmed to our toes. Rome and indeed all of Italy been bountiful in her hospitality to us, and Rosaria provided the perfect gateway.

Georgetown, OntarioGreat location, meh furnishings
Left on 11/04/2010 for a stay in October 2010
The furnishings in the apartment were more what I might expect in a cottage or student apartment. I was surprised the bed was a metal and springs frame with a foam mattress - I found it comfortable but others might not. We had no access to the "second bedroom" (which surprised me but I got over it) but the bedroom we had was quiet and clean.
The kitchen was furnished with the basics but you'll likely do nothing more than have a morning espresso since there are so many restaurants nearby.
Wonderful rustic ceilings.
Incredibly small bathroom - yes there's a tub, but no tub stopper to be found.
The only mirrors in the apartment were in the bathroom. A mirror in the bedroom and better lighting to get groomed would have made my stay much more pleasant. -

AmsterdamGreat city, good stay!
Left on 09/01/2010 for a stay in May 2010
The appartment in Trastevere is simple but nice. The entrance is a bit depressing (I would give it a painting again and put some pots with flowers or something)! But the appartment is cool, spacious en clean. Beds/ matrasses could be better.
Minor point is that the sleeping room at the right entrance is too light because of the light at the corridor/stairs that is switched on all night long. One needs a a thick curtain there.
