Neufchateau, Belgiumsituation optimale et excellent confort
Left on 04/30/2013 for a stay in April 2013
Bref, parfaite localisation!

PhoenixGreat place to stay in Rome
Left on 01/28/2013 for a stay in June 2012
We were looking for a 3 bedroom apartment for 3 couples that was close to transportation and the sights, and we found it at Giovanni Classic. The owner meet us at the apartment, showed us the room, collected the information and gave us our keys. She gave us some suggestions on where to eat, the plase was just down the street and had great food. It was nice to have a clothes washer in the middle of our trip, we were able to do loads each day. Great place to stay, clean, well kept and close to transportation.

The outside of the building was a traditional old style with a large wooden door which added to the old world charm. We were met by friendly owner Michela, who gave a tour of the apartment and we were pleasantly suprised by the tastefully renovated apartment which had an at home feel instantly. The blend of old fresco painted ceilings which are hundreds of years old and the modern fixtures complimented each other.
The living area had plenty of room with and large dining table and a couch to stretch out on to relax on after a day of exploring.
The 3 bedrooms had plenty of space with windows that let plenty of light in and a view of the street below. The beds were comfortable with clean fresh linen and plenty of extras provided such as towel, blankets and sheets. The 2 bathrooms were bright, very clean and fresh looking.
The location was excellent being within walking distance some of the major attractions such as the Colosseum and easy access to the public train and bus networks.
For a true Rome experience you could open the the apartments shutters and windows to let the world in and even hear the church bells ring on Sunday.
In all it was a very enjoyable experience during our holiday in Rome and would happily stay there again.Response from Sleep In Italy - 12/07/2012

Awesome- A shuttle came and took us to our condo. The host was waiting for us. It was charming. Beautiful bedrooms with fresca ceilings. The two bathrooms were modern and beautifully done. Very happy with the accomodations. In walking distance of the a train line and in walking distance to the Colisseum. Would definitely stay again. We were three couples and the giovanni classic was perfect for us. The also had laundry. There was a charming elevator that held one person and one piece of luggage at a time. The condo was on the second floor.

How could you ask for more? This charming vacation apartment is completely renovated and is beautifully appointed. It really gave you the feel of living in the city of Rome which you cannot get at any hotel.
The apartment is two floors up from entry level with a classicly beautiful 2 person elevator if needed (or one person and their large bag like me.) The apartment has 3 huge bedrooms with opening shutters (which lock), and one of them has a small balcony which was really nice to look out on the street. There were 2 bathrooms with very nice showerss, bidet, commode. They were very modern in style and extremely clean (as was the rest of the apartment). The livingroom/dining room area is a great place to sit and relax to plan the next day. It is right next to sliding doors which reveal the small kitchen. Everything you need is in that space, albeit small. Full size refridgerator, microwave, toaster, plate and silverware. There was also a door to the inner courtyard of the apartment complex which really exemplified the feeling of being in Italy with the neighbors commonly chatting outside that door.
The owner was wonderful as was her son. Always willing to help and be available to us if we needed them.
The location could not have been better. A short walk to the Colloseum and any Metro. It is not direclty in any heavy tourist area, which you will be greatful for. It is next to 2 wonderful restaraunts, a pharmacy and small store.
Next time I go to Rome, there is no question that I will stay here again. You will love it!Response from Sleep In Italy - 05/19/2012

35651Great apartment in a perfect location
Left on 05/13/2012 for a stay in March 2012
Some friends and I stayed at the Giovanni Classic apartment during the last week of March 2012. This was the first time I used Sleep in Italy, so I was a bit unsure of what to expect. However, Vicky from the agency was very helpful in arranging airport transportation and promptly answered my emails, so I felt more at ease about our choice in accommodation. I was right - I could not have been more pleased with the apartment and the owner.
The owner and her son happily greeted the five of us and proudly showed us around the apartment. They were very friendly, helpful, and hospitable. The three bedrooms are very nice - one with a small balcony and another with an en suite bathroom. Each had plenty of closet space, stocked with extra pillows, towels, and linens. Most importantly, all had comfortable beds. Even though the bedrooms are all on the street side of the apartment, there was little street noise when we were there.
The bathrooms are both large, very clean, and were recently redone. In fact, the entire apartment seemed to be recently renovated, with modern and tasteful decor. The kitchen and living/dining area were a bit small, but we didn't cook or eat in -- it was perfect for relaxing with our wine, bread, and cheese after a day touring, though. The apartment has wi-fi, which was very convenient, and the owner told us about the local markets and restaurants.
Only two blocks from Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano, the Giovanni Classic apartment is ideally located. The Colosseum was only a 10 or 15-minute walk -- in fact, we were able to walk from the apartment to several sites, like San Clemente, the Roman Forum, and Santa Maria Maggiore. We used the Manzoni subway station, which was only a few blocks away, and took advantage of the stores and restaurants in the neighborhood. (I Buoni amici, the restaurant just a few steps from the apartment building, is a must!)
I would definitely use Sleep in Italy again, and highly recommend the Giovanni Classic apartment!Response from Sleep In Italy - 05/17/2012
