At a walking distance from the Vatican, the Spanish Steps, Navona Square, Piazza del Popolo... It is a delux area of Roma center with a shopping district and many monuments near-by. The building is historical and located between two subway stops and at 5 minutes distance from the DIRECT shuttle bus from Fiumicino airport. Better location is really impossible!

I stayed here in March 2013. I only stayed in half of the rental. It was a very nice rental on the first floor up a flight of stairs. There is an elevator.
Flavia, my contact at the rental, was very kind, the first day I was there I discovered I had forgotten the pin to my bank card (currently in afghanistan and we don't use bank cards here so it had been awhile). She helped me with some options so that I could get cash till my pin could be sent to me.
The Metro is a 5 to 10 min walk from the rental.
St Peters' Basillica is a 20 to 30 min walk from the rental.
There is a wonderful restaurant right down the street from the rental (Da Enzo).
I did have a hard time finding the rental the first day - it was raining and I'm sure that didn't help.
I would stay here again, and I recommend this rental for a solo traveler, a family, or two couples. -

Hemos pasado un fin de semana cultural en Roma. Casa Gigli es un lugar encantador donde alojarse. Centrico, para ir caminando a cualquier punto, bien localizado con bus directo desde el aeropuerto, bien situado cerca de bonitos restaurantes. El staff es muy agradable con buenas recomendaciones para donde comer, que visitar... Al ser cuatro, hemos tenido el apartamento para nosotros como si fuera nuestra propia casa. Una estancia realmente bonita y recomendable.

Ho potato le mie nipoti a Roma per un week end a novembre, eravamo alloggiate in questa meravigliosa struttura recentemente ristrutturata. Interno curatissimo hanno mantenuto diversi mobili antichi, rifacendo i bagni totalmente. Dotato di una cucina molto funzionale, tutto pulitissimo e impeccabile. La posizione è perfetta. Centralissima e in prossimità potrete trovare una varietà di ristorante e bar. Merita almeno un 3 giorni di permanenza!

We stayed for 3 nights and found Casa Gigli fine, if a little spartan. It's a large apt with all the basic amenities, and was just finished renovations at the time (July 2012). Conveniently located with bus and metro within easy walking distance and in a nice residential neighbourhood with great local cafes a stones throw from the front door.
In terms of suggestions, some home comforts, such as basic cooking ingredients like sugar, olive oil, coffee, tea would have been a nice touch, - these were provided in many other apartments we stayed at in Italy. -

We truly enjoyed our vacation in Rome because of our stay at Casa Gigli. The location was perfect, the price was very affordable and the apartment was comfortable and very clean. Amy was there to meet us for check in, and answered our questions as best she could. If she couldn't she had suggestions on how to find an answer. The bedrooms were spacious even tho the twin beds weren't very comforatable but they were tolerable, and having 2 bathrooms was very helpful when you have 4 adults getting ready to go out in the morning! The kitchen was well supplied, although we could have used some paper towels or napkins to clean up after some fruit and snacks that we brought home. If I could wish for 2 things the next time we stay I would like somewhere to sit in the living / kitchen area besides the kitchen table, and a shelf in the showers to store soap and shampoo bottles.

Völlig neu renoviertes und äußerst ruhig gelegenes appartement in optimaler Lage in der Nähe der vatikanischen Museen, so daß man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten Roms zu Fuß besuchen kann. Die Bushaltestelle zum Flughafen und nach Ostia liegt ebenfalls nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Jedes der beiden Zimmer hat sein eigenes Bad und es kann noch eine gemeinsame Küchenzeile genutzt werden.

The apartment is a great place to stay in Rome. Clean, confortable, no cereal and toast breakfast, instead you have the freedom to prepare our own food (and a supermarket 3 blocks away), and a great attention by the hostess.
It's really confortable to rest after long walks along the city and have a nice shower.
We're looking forward for our next trip to Rome to stay here again.

Abbiamo passato un weekend bellissimo nella citta eterna!!
Casa Gigli ci ha accolto con simpatia e disponibilità (nonostante il ritardo nell'arrivo...scusate!)
L'appartamento è graziosissimo, appena ristrutturato ed è pulitissimo anche grazie a Carmen che tutti i giorni è venuta a pulire e sistemare.
Abbiamo trovato a casa gigli un punto strategico per visitare roma a piedi (tanto la macchina è inutilizzabile per il traffico)... a due passi da castel sant'angelo e dal Vaticano, i musei vaticani sono a 5 minuti e così anche piazza del popolo, piazza navona, via del corso, piazza di spagna... insomma tutta Roma!!! Torneremo sicuramente presto, prestissimo! Grazie di tutto.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Gigli, a tastefully decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bath flat in the Prati district of Rome.
The location is convenient to good shopping and dining and is within walking distance of the Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, the Vatican, and most of the other wonderful attractions Rome offers. In addition, it is an easy walk to a metro stop, Lepanto, and to the shuttle bus stop at Piazza Cavour(serving Fiumicino airport).
Even though this is a flat, rather than a hotel with front desk and concierge service, the owner and her staff were always accessible to answer questions, help us with travel arrangements, and make us feel comfortable.
