Monti is the name of one of the most ancient area of Rome. The name literally means mountains in Italian and comes from the fact that the Esquiline and the Viminal Hills, and parts of the Quirinal and the Caelian Hills belonged to this rione.The district is very large and very urbanistically composite, ranging from areas of intensive urbanization (such as that between the Interior and the Quirinal, with an axis of Via Nazionale, and all the buildings in Via Cavour) and the most recent areas as those between the Esquiline and Celio, on Via Amba Aradam).
Particularly appreciated from this point of view, and increasingly popular in recent years, is the area between Via Nazionale and Via Cavour (Via del Boschetto, Via dei Serpenti, Via Baccina and Via Panisperna ),the modesty of dwelling houses , the narrow streets, artisan shops, small shops seem to retain the characteristics of nineteenth-century Rome. The area, packed with restaurants, bars and many restaurants, gravitates on the square of the Madonna dei Monti, near of the church, which is still a gathering place for local residents and occasional visitors.
Thanks to its position, Monti is full of archaeological sites such as the Colisseum, the Trajan Forum, Nero's Domus Aurea, partof the Roman Forum and markets of Trajan.
Also, it's located very close to the Metro station Cavour (the one that precedes Termini Station (the main Metro and train station).

Being based in Perth, Western australia, we were looking for a place In Rome that would give us an easy access to all the major tourist attractions. Having chosen this modern apartment, we were not disappointed. The photos did its complete justice and we got what we were hoping for incl. a roof terrace.
From the original booking to our arrival we could not fault the Service. When we arrived we were greeted by Eleonora, who walked us to the apartment and spend a great amount of time showing us through every aspect of the unit. And then took the time to show us a couple of great local restaurants, businesses and transport. We then had an issue were we left valuables behind and we were in panic mode. One phone call to Marida where nothing was too much trouble to help us out and our problem was solved. We have no hesitation to recommend this company and staff. -

I spent in this nice place three days.
The location of this apartment is perfect, just a few steps from Colosseum and many restaurants. The apartment is very nice equipped. It is fabulous place. The terrace is very nice.

The apt was great! We had never rented an apt on a trip. A friend suggested it and we couldn't have been more pleased. The apt was a short taxi from Termini Train Station, (with one bag or less you could easily walk to the apt in 8-10 min). The unit was clean, water pressure great, and convenience of cooking in your own place was great! Marida took care of everything, it is truly a "turn key" apt. The location made it easy to walk to the Colosseum, Forum Ruins, and many restaurants, small grocers, wine stores, etc. The weather was a little cool on our visit but the Terrace is very nice and comfortable. The local metro train is a 1.5-2 min walk from the apt. After such a great experience, we will be renting more apt on vacations and avoid hotels where possible. Professional and easily accommodating staff.

The reviews that come before this are more elaborate in description but in a nutshell, book this apartment. For me this has been my go to location when in Rome. Having visiting this spectacular country more than 25 times, you can end up in a fabulous hotel but the location is noisy and crowded. This apartment is located on a quiet street that does not allow cars and you also avoid the sound of barking dogs all night as I have experienced before in other areas. However, in this particular apartment, you do hear the main door opening until late in the night because the apartment is located towards the front of the building near the main entrance. That is the only drawback. The comfort, location, convenience of this apartment is perfect. There is another apartment next door that I have stayed in and it is equally as nice. I am completely settled in as I type this review and really, I dont want to leave Rome or this apartment. I have cooked my meals in the kitchen, washed my clothes, and laid on the couch watching tv as if this is my home. A little pricey for one but for two it is perfect. Also the staff that manages the apartment are always wonderful and completely attentive.

Paul and I send you our most heartfelt thanks for all your many kindnesses during our stay in Rome.
It was a very special time for us meeting again after a 3 month separation. We loved the apartment and had such a wonderful time exploring the city.
But above all, you made our stay superlative. Your kind welcome, the way you organised the transport for us; the Borghese Gallery visit; the many thoughtful pieces of advice you gave us.
Signora angela and her sons are very fortunate to have you as your
enthusiasm for the job is so great.
We have stayed in holiday rental apartments in Tuscany, in various parts of France, Spain, England, Scotland and generally have been fortunate in dealing with landlords, owners, agencies etc, but we have never encountered the exceptional warmth and welcome which you showed us. You are very special!
The Ciancaleoni Place apartment is beautifully and elegantly furnished with every attention given to extra details such as surround-sound, mood lighting, a most comfortable sofa, flat screen TV., and a fantastically comfortable bed in the mezzanine sleeping area where there are ample storage closets. The kitchen has state of the art appliances and has everything one could possibly need.
The secluded roof garden would be a lovely area in the warmer months.
The public areas in the building are spotless and welcoming with a little indoor garden in the atrium area.
The street outside the apartment is completely quite, no traffic and with lovely, well tended buildings with potted plants on the cobbled street.
I felt completely safe in the lovely neighbourhood of Rome. Everywhere we went - bars, local restaurants and shops, we were greeted with nothing but friendliness. It stikes me that this is an area of Rome which is off the usual tourist routes but yet all the major sites are within very easy walking distance.
This apartment is superior to any others I looked at in Rome.

The apartment place has a modern and well-designed environment: the white-gray theme that prevails throughout the house gives the idea of peace and relaxation and there is no better feeling than going back home (and not in a sticky hotel room) after tiring tour of this big city and being welcomed by a so soothing and comfortable atmosphere.
There is everything you need: kitchen (we cooked every night), bathroom with shower, comfy bed. We used the free fully functional Wifi everyday to check our emails (working even when we should not!) and to manage our sightseeing tours, choosing the most popular route suggestions or restaurants.
In summary, we lived in a so fabulous place experiencing the wonderful things around us. Took time for ourselves because we are usually so caught up in our day-to-day stressful activities. Place allowed all of this.
