San DiegoA Simple, Quaint and Clean Place to Enjoy Your Stay
Left on 04/23/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We've stayed at this rental a few times now. It's centrally located within the community, but still offers good sight lines and some peace and quiet away from the communal areas. Denny's a good guy and responsive to your requests and needs. We definitely plan to stay there on future visits.

San DiegoThe Perfect accommodation!
Left on 04/07/2013 for a stay in March 2013
This was a great, clean, and cozy accommodation for a party of three. The mandala by the doorway is beautiful! Wonderful view from the deck, clean, and rustic feel. All members of our party were very happy with our stay. We will definitely keep this property in mind for small groups!

Thank you for your kind words. We have larger homes and more homes when the group size grows.

Newport Beach, CARad Weekend Getaway Surf House
Left on 01/07/2013 for a stay in December 2012
House was perfect for 6 people. Short walk to the beach, nice size kitchen (no diswhasher), bedrooms were nice, as were the bathrooms. Only complaint was that the fireplace does not work at all, makes the room so smokey you have to open every window and door in the house to air it out. Would certainly recommend it to a friend.
Response from Denny Beroiz - 01/07/2013
Owner
The Homeowner's Association limits the height of chimneys on all the homes. The draw can be slow and that is why there are specific instructions in the house as to how to build a fire that need to be followed to minimize smoke backing up.

This place was wonderful, great ocean view, great patio, great space. We headed down for a surf trip weekend and had a blast. Security was helpful and friendly, as well as other guests we met there. We hope to be back soon

EncinitasQuaint villa, outstanding view, comforting and friendly security
Left on 08/13/2012 for a stay in July 2012
The condo that we stayed in was well equipped with comfortable furniture, sufficient kitchen ware and overall charm. The kids loved the pool, the adults loved the private and very clean beach. Local fishermen set up a small fish market by the pool on the weekends where we were able to purchase fresh ceviche. On Saturday I bought a whole yellow tail for $20 which we grilled on the balcony and enjoyed for dinner. We'll definitely be back!

Huntington Beach, CAGreat beach house in wonderful community
Left on 08/14/2011 for a stay in July 2011
This house was perfect. It was very clean and very convenient. There were no problems or complaints at all. The community is very secure, with amenities that include a pool, private beach, shuffleboard and tennis courts. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location is great, being just a short drive from downtown Rosarito, or a little longer, albeit reasonable drive to Ensenada. I would definitely rent this house again.

Aliso Viejo, CAWaking up in a Jimmy Buffet Song
Left on 09/04/2010 for a stay in June 2002
We had a great stay at Los Gaviotas. The home was spotless and comfortable. The community is guarded and absolutely safe, which alleviated our initial concerns about a baja vacation. Waking up in the beach decor over looking the beach and watching dolphins makes you feel like you just woke up in a Jimmy Buffet song.

Las Gaviotas Rosarito Beach Rentals and Wine Tasting
Hermosa BeachLas Gaviotas Rosarito Beach Rentals and Wine Tasting
Left on 08/26/2010 for a stay in May 2010
Las Gaviotas Rosarito Beach Rentals provide an assortment of reasonably priced accommodations that offer ocean views, clean and comfortable interiors and beautiful grounds. There is a large swimming pool and jacuzzi, footpaths along the cliffs, good surfing, and nearby Puerto Nuevo Lobster Village offering delicious lobster dinners and fun street markets. Las Gaviotas is also close enough to the Mexican Guadalupe Valley that visitors can spend a day wine tasting and touring through the vineyards and wineries. The wines are excellent and driving through the valley is an fun adventure in itself. I've stayed in Las Gaviotas Beach Rentals several times and highly recommend them. The rentals are also large enough to easily host family gatherings and celebratory occasions.

PALOS VERDES, CAWhat a wonderful trip !
Left on 08/25/2010 for a stay in August 2010
Loved the place ! I recommend to any and every one. Beautiful location - I loved having my coffee and kahlua on the patio each morning while watching for dolphins. I loved my after-coffee walks around the grounds. Loved the restaurant recommendations, just too bad I couldn't try them all. Very safe and comfortable. The villa was very comfortable, clean, well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, pans, pots, etc., blankets and all the creature comforts. I cannot wait to visit.again.

Apple Valley, CaMexico with amenities at Las Gaviotas Rosarito Beach Rental
Left on 08/22/2010 for a stay in July 2010
Starting with the booking process, the entire vacation was effortless. The owner was quick to respond and provided good communication on what the unit and area had, providing maps and directions for getting into this gated community. The unit was located a short walk from the guard gate (but not to worry, you parked your car right at the unti), so I felf that we and our car were very safe. The unit is really laid back, just unpack and relax - but it does have everything you need to host a group or to just cook up a dinner for two. We brought some food (cookie dough baked up in a mexican kitchen tastes so good eaten on the deck while watching the surf), and were able to purchase beer and tortillas right up the road (near a gas station on the right side of the road). The community has a pool and spa, and great walking paths. The bed and bathroom were comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped - but the real draw of this house is the deck and living room area, where a group of friends can gather and grill up the local seafood, or enjoy a kilo of carnitas (purchased take out in Rosarita beach area) - the best I have ever had. Good accomadations, secure community, great eats and drinks...yes we will be back.

San DiegoGreat value, clean and comfortable with a homey feeling
Left on 08/21/2010 for a stay in May 2009
The house was like a home away from home. Just enough comfort to make the stress go away yet local enough in character to add real Baja excitement. For those who need to get away and shun the mundane tourist holiday routine of a resort--this place was ideal. It was clean and I felt very safe there. I strongly recommend it. And for those who live in Southern California--less than an hour drive from my San Diego home.

Was looking for a painless Mexico experience on a budget, at a secure location and this was it. Booked a week in one of the larger villas to accomodate seven of us. All the info, directions, and recommendations were spot-on. They have obviously been doing this a while. Highly recommended - will be back again and again.

Left on 08/17/2010 for a stay in August 2004
I have been lucky enough to make a few visits to Los Gaviotas. Mr. Beroiz and the resort staff are excellent. They provide lots of information about the local shopping, dining, beaches etc. The property is beautiful, clean, and has wonderflu views. I have and still continue to recommend Los Gaviotas to all that are looking for a wonderful and total vacation at a great price.

Medford, OregonTotal relaxation and fun
Left on 08/15/2010 for a stay in January 2010
From beginning to end this place is amazing. Wake up and watch hummingbirds, then fishes in the bay and surfers and fisherman in boats. The owner had a cool list of things to do and where to shop for unusual goodies along with where to find the best carnitas in Rosarito beach. Watching sunsets and sunrises and also wandering around the complex to see all the different home exteriors and feel so safe. Excellent dining in nearby restaurants and fun bars like "Ricky's" just are the highlights. We liked Las Gaviotas Rosarito Beach Rentals and would tell our friends to book some time there. All ages can enjoy the surrounding and feel cozy in the accommodations with huge windows/glass doors and a fireplace. Whether you dine in after shopping for essentials in town or dine out it is the perfect place to kick back.Booking is so easy and maid service is included. Everything was so clean and modern and the notes left in the house by the owner made us feel welcome. We had plenty of room to park our car and being able to check in and out at the front gate gives you a real feeling of security the entire visit...a real plus these days!
We even ventured out to drive south to Ensenada with no trouble at all. -

We had a wonderful time in Mexico mainly due to the terrific location of the property and Mr. Beroiz' help. I've stayed at the Las Gaviotas properties in the past and have always left feeling refressed. The properties are within a gated and guarded community, so it is very, very safe. The homes are stocked with the essentials, so you don't have to pack "everything and the kitchen sink." The atmosphere is also very family friendly. One of my favorite things to do while there is sit out on the balcony, early in the morning sipping coffee and watching the dolphins swim by. What a great experience! A place like this in the states would cost hundreds a night more. Highly recommended!

Left on 08/11/2010 for a stay in January 2010
Our January experience this year at Las Gaviotas Rosarito Beach Rentals for my wife and daugther and son-in-law was a very memorable and extremely enjoyable family get away. The 3 Bedroom Home was perfectly decorated and the layout was extremely spacious with Sunsets that were picture perfect. The other outstanding features of this Rentals was we felt as safe in this complex as we do in our home environment and the key feature was that the Rental cost was very reasonal compared to many other sites we have visited.
From the young folks perspective they totally enjoyed and participated in the awesome Baja nightlife and we all were very impressed with the local Restaurants and shops. -

Left on 08/10/2010 for a stay in June 2010
This place is amazing, beautiful, fun and very safe. The owner went out of his way to provide us a whole package of information about what to do for fun and where, given this was our first trip to Baja - what a nice gesture. The house we rented was spacious, comfortable and clean, and everything we needed was there (e.g., dishes, linens, barbeque, etc). Was so much fun!! Highly recommend Las Gaviotas Rosarito Beach!!

Central Point, OregonGreat Family Destination - Las Gaviotas Rosarito Beach Rentals
Left on 08/09/2010 for a stay in June 2010
Wonderful house in a beautiful spot of Rosarito. We felt totaly content with all the comforts of home. The complex was very secure and the on-site staff was great from the moment we arrived; friendly and helpful. We loved the pool and beach access from which the kids enjoyed watching the sunsets and dolphins. The quality of the home just added to the relaxing atmosphere and makes this a low cost destination I will highly recommend. Owners knowledge of the area attractions and resturants made it a breeze to find our way around town. Five stars here...
