The living area (accessed via a split level floor) is open plan with a kitchen, dining area and a woodburner in the sitting area. Outside is off road parking, and an enclosed garden with furniture. Located in Rosedale, a beautiful valley of sweeping hillsides and breathtaking views, this lovely little settlement is surrounded by wonderful moorland countryside and offers walks in every direction. The village is home to the remains of a 12th Century Cistercian Priory - a stone pillar, staircase and sundial are all that remain â which gave the town its unusual name. The village is now largely made up of stone-built cottages clustered around the village green. Packed with local amenities such as shops, tearooms, an art gallery, a glass studio and three old country pubs, there is plenty to do without venturing to nearby Hutton-le-Hole, Ryedale and Kirkbymoorside.

The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
