In a beautiful and very peaceful location above the pretty little coastal village of Badachro, and enjoying spectacular sea and mountain views this attractive detached house has been built in a traditional Scottish style. Badachro is a former fishing village which is now a haven for yachts and small boats and would be a popular choice for guests wishing to bring their own boat. The pub in the village is lively and friendly for lunch, drinks or an evening out. Torridon Sunrise is a spacious, well-equipped cottage in a beautiful location. It's an ideal base for touring round the northwest coast of Scotland.
We have one small criticism: on arrival we found a note from the owner telling us not to use the fourth bedroom. We booked the property on the understanding that it had four bedrooms because our party comprised my wife and myself, our son, his eighteen-year old son and two younger boys. We simply used the fourth room and the cleaners assured us that was OK. the agency need to be sure of the detail of what is on offer. -

Good combination of remote western coast with modern comfort. Large modern house which took two families of 4 with ease. Plenty of space for cooking, dining, & playing indoors when the weather lets you down. Great location for getting into sheltered waters in Baddachro (we took canoes & kayaks). Fantastic beach at Red point for sunny days, within biking distance of the house on quiet single track road (7 miles each way?).
