Wake up to the sunrise over the Malvern Hills from one of our comfortable self-catering cottage.

The Granary has one double-bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.

Set in a rural location in the southern part of Herefordshire Woodredding is convenient for the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean and only a few miles from Wales.

We have lots of waymarked footpaths and quiet roads for cycling. From our field you can soon reach the Herefordshire Trail by foot.

We also offer tutored 'taste of the countryside' courses where you can learn about cider-making, heritage buildings and much more that goes on in this beautiful, histori...c county. You can be assured of a warm welcome from Fran and Brian Robbins who live on-site and are there to make your holiday as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

And if you can't completely escape the modern world the Cider Mill has wi-fi as well as television.

Herefordshire is known for its fine local produce and we can recommend local pubs and restaurants where you can enjoy some memorable meals. Local attractions include Symonds Yat, the National Birds of Prey Centre and Three Choirs vineyard.

Fishermen and golfers will find plenty to occupy them.

Being in the heart of the countryside but only three miles from the motorway network this is a very accessible place, Heathrow is two hours away, while Birmingham Airport can be reached in an hour.

In fact it is so easy to drive by this county, one of the most rural in England, that many travellers don't realise that nestled between the Welsh Mountains and the Malvern Hills is such a delightful gem.

Spring is the time for gloriousblossom, including our own cider apple and perry pear orchards.

Autumn is the time for harvest and you can enjoy our plums, pears and apples as well as the high quality food found in local farmers' markets.

Additional Location Information

Woodredding is easily reached by a short drive from the A449. Visitors are advised to stay on this main road from Ross-on-Wye, Ledbury or the M50 and ignore what their SATNAV may tell them.

  This is a comfortable, self catering cottage at a farm, perfectly located near Ross-on-wye. The views were incredible and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay, even a laundry. The only drawback is the thickness of the walls, as they inhibit the internet connection! The cottage is in an ideal location to explore the local area, not far from Ledbury, Weston cider mill and not far from the Cotswolds.
