Sleeping four people in two bedrooms, this detached cottage is in the Royal Forest of Dean, in the hamlet of Bailey Lane End. The Pines is a detached cottage in the quiet hamlet of Bailey Lane End, in the Royal Forest of Dean. The cottage has a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and a twin room. There is also a family shower room. There is a fitted kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room with electric stove. Outside is off road parking and a lawned garden with patio. The Pines makes a lovely rural base with easy access to all The Royal Forest of Dean has to offer.

Amenities: Oil central heating with electric stove in sitting r...oom. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV, DVD, CD, radio, selection of books, games and DVDs. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 3 cars. Bike and kayak storage. Raised veranda with 4 steps down to lawned garden with furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved dogs welcome (to be kept in hall and kitchen only). Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles, pub 5 mins walk. Note: There are four steps from the parking area to the rear door.

Region: Herefordshire offers visitors the chance to journey through lush green countryside, enjoying splendid black-and-white timbered villages, a magnificent cathedral city, a fairytale Georgian castle at Eastnor or books galore in famous Hay-on-Wye.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  The Pines is a well equipped and comfortable cottage with wonderful views. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. We were close to Ross on Wye and the Forest of Dean was literally outside the gate which was perfect for our dog! We spent a very enjoyable day at Symonds Yat which we would all recommend for a visit. We took my elderly parents with us and The Pines was perfect for them as well as it is a bungalow and all on one level. I would recommend this cottage to anyone and cannot think of anything we didn't like, except perhaps for the weather!
