This semi-detached cottage is situated in the hamlet of Pengethley, close to Ross-on-Wye and sleeps ten people in five bedrooms. Grove View Barn is a semi-detached, stone-built cottage in the hamlet of Pengethley, three miles from Ross-on-Wye. This cottage sleeps ten people in five bedrooms, consisting of two king-size doubles - one of which has an en-suite bathroom, a single, which is accessed from the landing and king-size en-suite room, a twin and a ground floor family room with one double and one single bed. The cottage also has a bathroom with corner bath, a ground floor shower room, a kitchen with dining area, a siting room with electr...ic fire, a large landing with seating and a snug with children's bean bags and a double sofa bed. Outside there is off road parking for four cars, an enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture and a paddock for ball games. Grove View Barn is an ideal holiday home for families who wish to explore the Herefordshire countryside, or the many villages and towns dotted around the area.

Note: There are steps between the ground floor bedroom and the kitchen and there are 2 steps down to the sitting room, therefore this property may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Note: No hen/stag parties.

Town: The scattered hamlet of Pengethley is situated in the Wye Valley, just 3 miles north of Ross-on-Wye. The hamlet offers a farm shop and café and Pengethley Manor, which is surrounded by National Trust parkland and provides bar meals and fine dining. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.   A most pleasant surprise when we arrived on Friday afternoon for our long weekend with all our family - how large the property is and how well equipped !. Really nice bedrooms, spotlessly clean and with many homely touches - the card, cake, tea, coffee & milk on arrival were most appreciated. Living room is amazing - great place to spend an evening together - all eleven of us including two small children.
  Kitchen is well equipped and again very comfortable with dining space for all. Despite the cold weather the heating coped well and we were very snug. Nearby Hotel was really good & catered well for our early birthday party - great food & service.
  A variety of activities and places to see are only a short drive away. Super place to stay - worth every penny !!
