A beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a large pool overlooks a freshwater canal in the White Marsh section of Rotonda West. It is fully equipped to sleep 6 people.

A spacious Great Room has an open floor plan with a formal Dining Room, Kitchen, Breakfast Nook and Office area. All furnishings were purchased in 2011. There is a 42-inch flat-screen LCD TV in the Great Room. The large master sweet has a king bed, 32-inch flat-screen LCD TV, tray ceilings, and sliding glass doors to the pool deck. Within the master suite is the en-suite bathroom that has a walk-in shower, double sinks, along with a very large walk-in closet. Bed...room 2 has a queen bed with a double closet. Bedroom 3 has twin beds with the double closet. All rooms throughout the home have ceiling fans. The family bathroom has a tub with shower and opens to the pool deck. All bathrooms have hair dryers. The home has cable television access in the Great Room and all bedrooms. There is hi-speed, wireless internet service throughout and a telephone connection in the office area. A fully-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and microwave; and a laundry room with washer, dryer and iron with ironing board. A separate nook with a desk is perfect for the home office. All linens, towels and pool towels are included.

The extended deck has a 25-foot pool with electric heat and solar cover. The lanai overlooks a freshwater canal, fishing is just a 25-foot walk to the canal's edge. Additionally the pool has a child safety fence. The covered lanai contains a patio table with 6 chairs and chaises as well as a gas barbecue. The two-car garage has two bicycles along with beach chairs, beach mats, cooler, and umbrella.

This home is ideally situated just 200 yards from the 10th tee box on Long Marsh Country Club. It is just 10 minutes to the local beaches at Boca Grande Island and Englewood Beach. There are 7 public beaches within 7 miles with world-class salt-water fishing and water sports facilities. All in easy reach. In addition, there are 8 public golf courses within 5 miles.   We really liked the location - no one across the canal, no one on one side. There was an issue with the phone / internet for the first couple of days - we had either one or the other. There was no way of retrieving messages on the answering machine. We were disappointed the house did not have the bikes and the water feature in the pool didn't work. The living space was very cramped - the kitchen eating area was in the way of the flow of traffic, the living room furniture was way too big for the size of the room. The master bed was ridiculously high off the ground!

  I think that we cannot find a better home in this area, quiet, private, very clean, spacious and professionally decorated. The Preserve is located in a very private location. If you just want to relax, I can't think of a better place then the secluded backyard, everything is there, nature preserve, heated pool, BBQ and plenty of sun. For those who want more, numerous golf courses in the area, nearby beaches, shopping, walking, biking and plenty of excellent restaurants. This is a my favorite place in Rotonda!
