The Touch of Texas #5 was very clean and spacious. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. Our only complaint was that the towels smelled.
Nice Clean Condo

The Condo was very clean and the pictures were just as shown. We loved the hot tub on the deck and even saw a few deer. There were a few minor things like missing a corner baseboard and torn chair pillows but other than that the stay was pretty perfect. We had trouble with a breaker due to a brief power outage. We called and within a few minutes, someone came to help. Great Customer Service.
It is nice to stay

Overall it is a nice place to stay during Christmas except a little bit coal dust on the carpet, maybe because of winter season.
Everything as pictured and more!

I was responsible for the lodging on the long weekend trip to Ruidoso. I considered renting a vacation residence because the hotels were overpriced for the weekend. I never rented a residence before, so I googled a few terms and came upon Condotel for Ruidoso. We stayed in a 2bed/2.5bath (+sleeper sofa) 2 story condo not far from midtown(the main drag).
It was wonderful. It felt as if you were right at home. The condo featured a lower and upper deck. The upper deck had a hot tub, which we used. The kitchen was stocked with every dish, plate, cup, pot, pan, utensil you could think of. There was also a blender, can opener and toaster. There was a stacked laundry unit and even laundry soap to wash clothes. Each bedroom upstairs had a king size bed, TV, DVD, full bath and separate access to upper deck. We also found board games, cards, books and a few Dvds in the condo for use. Did I mention we had wi-fi too?
I was impressed that the online photos were exact representatives of what we were accommodated with. There is early check-in at no additional charge--we took advantage of this. The usual check in time is 4pm. Check out is at 11am and you best be prompt with it because there is a $50/hr charge! The customer service reps were knowledgeable, accurate and friendly. Upon check-out, we receive a nice edible gift. We also noticed a couple Labrador retrievers roaming the grounds, and there was a sign posted for that :p There were cute and nonthreatening.
Just note, that some of the rentals do not have a/C, very important for the summer months, but not so much for the winter. Do your research and find which amenities suit you best.
Everything you need and comfortable. 2 years in a row for me an

Condotel people are a fine tuned machine. Cordial, professional, and very well prepared. We are a family of six and it was perfect for us. It was truly a little home away from home. Did some cooking we saved some cash. My family and I really enjoyed the hot tub!! It was in a pretty centralized location just one block off the main drag. Only thing I didn't like was throwing away the trash in a bin that was further away than I'd like.

We loved the convenience to the main street and area attractions. It is so easy to get in and out. Condotel is always a joy to work with. Very congenial and friendly. The staff is pleasant and so accomodating. The only problem (now that we are older) is that we aren't able to do the stairs very well. When we decide on a date for our visit this year, we will need to discuss a single story accomodation. The friends who always accompany us are Randy and Joan Smith from Monahans, Texas, so you may have their names, also.

This was a long time ago. the condo was well located near downtown area. Nothing fancy but it was well stocked and comfortable. Wish there had been some better outdoor space attached.
