The Rim Road Retreat has great views of the Ruidoso Valley from the back deck which is isolated enough to create a nice private and peaceful setting. This unique home presents two master suites both offering king size beds and a full bath within. The two guest bedrooms offer queen beds and a full bath in the hallway. You'll enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and open dining area. A wood burning fireplace is the centerpiece of a very comfortable living room and setting room. We spent Christmas 2011 at the Rim Road Retreat and enjoyed every aspect. I asked if there would be a Christmas tree there as we took my 2 year old grandaughter. I was told that they would see what they could do. I was so happy to see the tree sat up when we arrived. Ruidoso received over 10 inches of snow in 2 days (unsure of total). The view was absolutely breathtaking from watching deer walk around the property to watching it snow while in the hottub. I prepared a traditional Christmas Dinner and the kitchen was well equiped. It was obvious to me that someone had spent time chosing the furnishings and had great taste. The only minor issue we had was with the alarm system. The employee for the alarm system company came out in a timely fashion, was very courteous and fixed the problem.
