Windmill Lodge is a wonderful place to relax for a Ruidoso vacation. This large four bedroom, three bath home is adjacent to the national forest and will accommodate up to eight people. It has a living room and a large den, there is a fireplace in the living room and a wood burning stove in the den so you are sure to stay warm. The sleeping arrangements are a king, two queens, one bunk bed. Enjoy large front decks on two levels with sweeping views of the valley and a back deck with a gas grill. We spent a week at abby's Windmill Lodge with our children and grandchildren to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and everything was handled smooth as silk. We really liked the accomodations - there was plenty of room for everyone. Loved that the house was located at the edge of the Lincoln National Forest as it provided ample opportunities to watch the wildlife, deer at the back porch and bear at the front porch! The area provided plenty of activities, the views from the decks was great and provided a quiet time in the evenings for everyone.
