Description from the manager

Alpine Village Cabin #100 is a wonderful little one bedroom cabin located on the north side of Ruidoso on a hill top with forest views. It is recent construction. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa with a gas log fireplace in the living room. It has a very open kitchen and den with a dining table for four. There is a private deck on the back to sit quietly and listen to the wind blowing through the trees while you sip your morning coffee. You might need a 4 x 4 in snowy conditions in the winter months to climb the short Alpine Village access road. NO PETS ALLOWED and NO SMOKING!

We are a growing family with a 2 and a 5 year old girls and a baby boy on the way. This was the perfect size for all of us to snuggle down for a few days and do kid friendly fun. Laundry was priceless. Thanks a bunch. We will def be returning

      Everything was great

Left on 07/26/2012 for a stay in March 2012

The service was great and the location was perfect. The only issue was that the water heater made a loud noise for about 20 minutes every time someone took a shower.

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

Left on 07/26/2012 for a stay in January 2012

After musch research and comparing places to stay I kept going back to alpine Village Cabin #100 and I am so glad I did. There were not really any reviews about it but my gut (and the pics) told me to go ahead with the reservation. It is very true to the pics online. It was perfect for my husband, myself, and our two boys (5 and 2). They loved it. It was so cozy. When not out and about we baked, watched movies, enjoyed many great meals and sat by the fire. I had a few questions and the people in the office were quick to respond via email and were very happy to answer my questions. The cabin in clean, my top priority, and it is stocked with all the necessities. Oh, and the laundry room is detached but right behind cabin #100. My husband did the laundry and said it was set up really nice and clean. Ac/heat in there too. The view is amazing and I felt very safe there. My husband really loved that it was off the main roads and it felt like we were in the wilderness away from everything. Having the comfort of knowing we were just a road away from all the stores and restaurants was perfect. Plus you are near a few other cabins so you're not too isolated yet you have your privacy. At one point on our drive up the mountain I noticed we were running late. I made a call and they were so nice and told us to take our time. When we went in to get our keys everyone was super nice and talkative. We will definitely stay there on all of our future visits. I will also recommend this cabin to all who ask.

From the front door looking to parking spot. Other cabins. Living room area. View from the balcony.

      quiet mountain retreat

Left on 07/19/2012 for a stay in July 2012

We were looking for a nice, quiet getaway & didn't want to stay in a hotel. This was perfect for our trip. We had all the necessities of home & wonderful weather. It was clean, comfortable & fairly private. Our "neighbors" - had we had any - would have been able to see up from the back patio, but there wasn't anyone staying in the two cabins next to us. The view whas beautiful of the trees, mountains & the wildlife we saw (mostly deer & squirrels). The main road was about 50 yards below us & we could hear big trucks drive by, but it wasn't a high traffic road.
The only issue we had was with the air conditioning unit. We didn't have any way to adjust it & it was pretty warm when we first arrived. Fortunately, once the sun goes down, the temperature drops significantly & we kept the windows open for the remainder of the trip.
we had a thoroughly enjoyable time in a great little cabin!

We had a very relaxing stay!

Left on 07/17/2012 for a stay in July 2011

This cabin was very cozy and comfortable. The location on the quiet street was great. Deer wandered up to our cabin one evening. The only thing that could have been better was if it had air conditioning. We came in the middle of the summer and it got warm during the days. Overall, a great stay!
