I really enjoyed staying here. The place is clean and well maintained. It's very peaceful although at the time I stayed the neighbors were quite loud but when the neighbors were not there it was a very quiet and peaceful place. If you want to be away from everything and have a very relaxing and serene place this would be the place for you.
The reservation process was very good. I really enjoyed working with Kim. -

Hard to beat

This condo was at the top of 7 mile beach, which we liked very much. Less busy than the rest of the beach, but still accessible to everything. We had a rental car and that makes the difference in this kind of situation. The property is well maintained and the unit (38) was tastefully decorated and quite comfortable.

My fiancee and I stayed here in May of 2012 and found the condo to provide the perfect combination of privacy and access. The condo is in great condition and is exceptionally comfortable and charming. The area is quiet and we virtually had the pool, hot tub and hammock to ourselves. Kaibo Yacht Club is literally right next door and has a great "beach" bar downstairs and an exceptional restaurant upstairs. Rum Point is just a couple of minutes drive and provides access to water sports and a more populated section of beach. We spent the second part of our trip at Seven Mile Beach and had a great time, but our time at Grand Cayman Haven was definitely our favorite portion of the trip.

From the very first email, we had a wonderful experience. Setting up the reservation and confirmation was easy and quick. The Condo was all we had hoped for, quiet right on the beach, lovely place to sit bug free and have coffee or drinks at night. Kitchen has lots of pots/pans/utensils to cook with and it just has a welcoming feel to it. We didn't use them but lots of movies and CDs are there too. Location is off the beaten path but exactly what we wanted. No problem with parking or finding it. Tours for StingRay city and sunset cruises leave right from Rum Point so no need to go to the busy side if you don't want too. I would go back again in a heart beat.

The best way to know you made a good rental decision is when things go wrong. That's what happened to us. We rented the Condo from Kim who was great to work with. However, because of a date change and some miscommunication with the house-keeper, the place wasn't ready when we showed up late at night. I called Kim back in the states, she apologized sincerely, and the next morning a team of three showed up and made the place spotless. Kim called back later in the morning to be sure everything was to our liking. She called again later in the week to check in.
The place is a romantic get-a-way as advertised. It's on the second floor and the building is right on the beach. The condo patio faces the ocean. I can't say enough about it. It is a 50 minute drive from the airport, is quiet, relaxing, a short walk to wonderful star fish beach and a 10-15 minute walk to the Rum Point wreck bar, (supposedly the place that invented the Mudslide). You will need a car to get around. It's far away from the tourists throng and crew ships, which was perfect for us. It's close to some good snorkeling spots. The very small Kaibo Yacht club which is next door, and Rum Point both have places to rent kayaks, paddle Boards, jet ski's, tour the Bio-luminescence bay, tour on a glass bottom boat and to arrange dive trips. -

We just returned from a week at this condo--and it was a fabulous place to stay while enjoying the island! From sunrise to sunset, the ocean is your playground! Next door is Kaibo Yacht Club and five minutes away is Rum Point or Starfish Beach.The location is great if you want to stay away from the tourist crowds.
Kim's place was so comfortable. We packed light so having all of the extra conveniences made it feel like home... from the smoothie blender to the ceiling fans that moved the ocean breezes from the porch to the bedroom for cool sleeping comfort. All you needed to add was your food and refreshments!
When this rental picture of the porch looking out to the water popped up on my email for travel ideas I wanted to be in that picture. From the moment we contacted Kim to actually arriving and spending time there it was the easiest vacation to plan. Thanks to Kim for all of her assistance in making our time in Grand Cayman an amazing and relaxing adventure! -

Those would be my words to sum up a week at this condo on the beach. Our interactions with the owner, Kim, were great. She was so helpful in providing recommendations and assisting us in navigating our first trip to Grand Cayman. The caretaker, Barbara, was equally helpful. She, as well as all of the locals we encountered, were warm and hospitable. If you are looking for a quiet escape from the hectic day to day, this is the place. The condo is located steps from the beach, there's a great pool and hot tub, and several more steps to the Kaibo Yacht Club which has a cute outdoor bar with great food. We visited Seven Mile Beach and found it to be beautiful, but crowded. Driving back to the condo, we were so glad to have booked at Cayman Kai. During our stay, we were often the only people at the pool or on the beach. There's a hammock on the property which provided hours of bliss, just dozing off in the gentle ocean breeze. The condo itself has all the comforts of home. The decor is charming - very Tommy Bahama. We loved making coffee in the morning and sitting on the deck. At night, there's a DVD player and lots of good movies to choose from as well as satellite television (in case you get homesick...haha). The condo also has wi-fi internet, which was good to have. Overall, a great vacation. Can't wait to return!

Stayet at Kim Perry's great condo this last May. Rental process was easy and straighforward, Kim was great and her manager very helpfull. The place is great, location is awesome : just quiet enough to relax and still plently of opportunites to have fun. The condo was very clean, fully equipped and everything worked and was well maintained.
Grand Cayman is great... even driving on on the wrong side of the street was fun. We plan to go back soon. :)
