In addition, Idle Hours has just built a freshwater swimming pool for guests enjoyment. This villa has prime location, sitting on one of Jamaica's largest privately-owned white sand beaches . Chukka Cove, Jamaica's premier riding stable is within 10 minutes drive, and along with horseback riding, also offers as many as 6 tours, including the newest craze, "tubing" down the White River. The interiors are colorful and brightly furnished. French doors open out from the dining and living room onto a lovely ocean view, and your private beach. All three bedrooms offer air conditioning and ceiling fans. The exterior of the house is just magnificent. The house sits directly on the beach, with only a few steps of the verandah separating you from dripping your feet into the warm sand and cool water.
The pool is oval, 26ft long, 12ft wide; depth is 3.5ft - 5ft (no diving). It features a pool deck with furniture. My friends and i stayed at Idle Hours for 5 days. We had a great time, the beach view every morning through our window was perfect. The sunlight and the waves crashing is the ideal way to wake up. Sue the housekeeper and Martin the chef made our stay over the top.
