We had a wonderful stay at Sunspot villa.
In general, everything was pretty much as described; the villa is very nice and spacious, the grounds are beautiful and the pool and beach are perfect for the whole family.
The staff were very helpful and took great care of us. The local food dishes that were prepared were delicious. And, being able to dine outside while looking out at the ocean was wonderful. We also really liked our nanny. Her help certainly made our stay a more relaxing one!
The owner is extremely helpful in co-ordinating transportation, groceries and any special request you may have. His efforts definitely made our stay a fantastic one.
We hope to visit Sunspot again some day.

We had a great stay at Sun Spot. The property is quaint and the gardens perfect and picturesque with a lovely view of the ocean, and an inviting pool.
The staff took great care of us and made everything so easy and relaxing. The food was also delicious.
We visit this area often, and Sun Spot is definitely now on our list of places to return to.
Apart from the sound of the ocean lulling you to sleep at night and the great service and food, everyone was so incredibly accommodating and pleasant to work with that we can't think of a reason not to return. -

What better way to start your day than the warm smile of a wonderful house staff and the taste of a real Jamaican breakfast..after that it only gets better. This house boasts it all; great location, nicely designed spacious home for lounging around the pool, dining outside or inside and prime beach location with a total feel of privacy. We travelled with our elderly family and could not have chosen a better place for them as the ease of access and extremely helpful staff made our vacation a real vacation. The owner is extremely helpful in co-ordinating transportation, groceries and any excursion trips you may want to take. We will definitely be coming back.

Sunspot Villa is an incredible place. You have your own gorgeous private villa with amazing food, impeccable service and a gorgeous beach at your doorstep. Having dinner as you listen to reggae and watch the sunset over the ocean...it is truly the most beautiful experience. I have stayed there several times and each visit was perfect. The cook, Sharon, prepares every meal perfectly and every thing you taste, from the fruit to the jerk chicken is full of amazing flavor. When I think of a Caribbean vacation, my first choice is always Sunspot Villa.

Six of us rented Sunspot for a long weekend this past December and we were not disappointed! The house was fabulous! Very spacious and clean with 3 bedrooms in the house and a separate little cottage complete with extra bathroom and bedroom.The staff was extremely friendly and courteous, and answered any questions we had. They also cooked all of our meals which is exactly what you want on a vacation right?! The house has a pool and is located right on the beach (fifty feet from the front door) and is mostly private.There are also tons of things to do within walking distance (golfing, horsebackriding, dance club at the hotel next door)
All in all Sunspot was exactly what we were looking for in a vacation rental. Everything we needed we had right there. If you are looking for a exotic vacation spot for you and a few friends you should definitely check out this one. -

I have been to jamaica many times and have stayed mostly in large resorts. My stay at the Sunspot Villa was a totally different experience, and a really nice one. Where to begin? Sunspot offers the best of both worlds by having a quaint and homely feel but also having the amenities of a resort (minus Gym & Spa). Many an afternoon was spent playing frisbee on the huge lawn adjacent to the beach. The house is set back far enough that there is no disruption from the beach, however the beach is literally outside the gate. The staff at sunspot were very accommodating. One of the things that i liked best about the place was how good the food was. The chef there introduce me to a lot of the traditional local fare, but also could make a mean cheeseburger and standard american cuisine. Pool.. amazing. Much of my time there was spent in the outdoor patio area. Reading, Lazing around, or just taking a break from sunbathing by the pool. Everything is there and anything you might need the staff will gladly provide. Sunspot Villa is an amazing place to stay, I am looking forward to going back with my family sometime soon.
