Substantial family beach house with spectacular sea views. Situated in the heart of Tapeka, 1 mile from historic Russell in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand. Modern and comfortable, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom self catering holiday rental spread across 3 levels. The large deck surrounding the house provides sensational views of the bay and beach, and private outdoor dining areas. Situated close to the waterfront, sandy Tapeka Beach is just 2 minutes walk. Accommodation for 10 people.

The White Beach House looks out over tranquil Tapeka beach and is located only 250 meters away (2 min walk). The beach has soft white sand with great all tide swimming. During the summer months a pontoon is moored in the bay, a big hit with children who spend hours swimming out to it and diving off. The reserve next to the beach has several picnic tables with shelter from the sun provided by two large Norfolk pines. There are public toilets and a boat ramp.
Over the hill from Tapeka is the historic and charming township of Russell with cafes, restaurants and a variety of shops and services including two grocers, pharmacy, fishing tackle, wine store, galleries, antique shop and museum.
Russell township is situated along the waterfront and many of the local excursions leave from the wharf including boat trips to the famous ‘hole in the rock’, sailing trips, fishing charters and dolphin encounter cruisers. The passenger ferry to Paihia also departs regularly.

High season rates are for use of the whole house (all 3 levels) for up to 10 persons.
All other season rates quoted are for up to 6 persons for the use of upstairs two levels only (3 brms / 2 bathrooms), then additional person charge applies for use of the rest of the house. Additional Adult rate NZD$30 per night, Additional Child rate NZD$20 per night (under 2's free).

We found this property in a desirable area and a short stroll to the beach front. The house was open and spacious with a variety of areas to find a quiet den.
Very good indoor and outdoor access with a modern kitchen functioning for large group cooking.
