We stayed at FernWoods for a long 3 day weekend. There were two couples, two babies, and two dogs. Russian River Getaways was a great find for us because there were a number of houses in our price range that were wonderfully accomodating to our group. All the staff I spoke with were friendly and helpful. Their process is clear and they are very professional. The garbage disposal broke the first night and there was a handy man out the next morning. It was really easy to get issues solved.
The house was cute and cozy. We spent mornings there and then ventured out to explore Guerneville. We loved Hi5, the Market, and Garry Ferrell Vineyard.
We will definitely be back to Guerneville. We'd absolutely stay at Fernwoods again or maybe one of the other great Russian River Getaway houses. -

We are locals who like to travel close- our county is astoundingly beautiful. Guerneville is known to be funky and cold but this house really is a gem in the wilds of Guerneville! The anonymity of renting without seeing or talking to anyone was quite lovely! It felt very much like a secret getaway. The house is astoundingly beautiful, comfortably furnished and not too feminine like many rentals can appear. The hot tub looked like it had an awning over it but did not, so we didn't venture there. Next time! A few minor glitches but considering the area, we had a carefree Guerneville experience! One thing tho, the road in to the neighborhood feels 80 times longer than the directions indicate. Have faith, you will get there! Almost perfect, and we will be staying in this same house again. The customer service we received after our stay was exemplary (left an item behind, Julz sent it back at no charge) so it completed the experience of feeling "home" but not home...

Fern Woods is a quaint, comfortable house that was exactly what we were looking for. Although the kitchen is a little small, the downstairs living room is spacious and comfortable, and the master bedroom is large and inviting. It was easy to get to, but difficult to leave.

It was exactly what I hoped for when i booked this rental. The cabin had everything we needed and was maintained properly. The staff was very friendly and professional. I can't wait to vacation. Here again.

I just loved this house it was just what the doctor ordered. I got to relax in hot tub and catch up on some rest. The description of cabin doesn't give it justice, I had overlooked this location. I had a small issue with hot water on my first rental and got the best customer service ever; I was moved rather quickly to Fern Wood and was blown away by the house, it was huge and even though it wasn't as secluded as cabin on austin Creek which I loved as well, I felt very secluded. The neighbor was very nice as well gave me a jump as I left my lights on car. I highly recommend house to anyone who works a lot and needs to getaway. The master bedroom was awesome, I got to hideaway there when I felt like being alone and just rest. I want to thank Russina River getaways for going above and beyond, I been raving about service and experience. I can;t wait to get my next rental, hopefully other cabins are just as great as this location, thanks again!

Really enjoyed the house. It was as described. But the parking was terrible. No way could two normal size cars park at the lower level. As stated, you needed a vehicle with a high clearance to parke in the driveway. Parking a Jag in the lower level alone was a job.
