The large, comfortable living area, with piano room/library, living room, bathroom, semi-formal dining area, and kitchen with eat-in dining, wraps around a central entry hall/stair. The living room opens to a game room with window wall views of the forested valley below. Stairs lead down to three bedrooms and another bathroom. From the downstairs hall, there are stairs down to the dining deck and outdoor kitchen. From the dining deck, there are more stairs to the hot tub deck and separate pool deck. Out the front door, there is a glassed-in porch and walkable hillside garden with Asian touches. House is ~2200sf.

Cleaning $190, 11% tax on rent and cleaning, $75 non-refundable security protection fee.

  Eight of our family and friends with 2 dogs stayed here for 2 nights. The normal rate was $329/night but the price was reduced to $295/night because the pool was out of service. Honestly I think a rate of $260/night (with no pool access) would've been a more fair rate for the place.
  
  The house is spacious and the amenities were appreciated. The asian theme decor was interesting. The huge deck, view, hot tub were great! The piano and game room was also a plus for our musician friends, we played acoustic instruments. We cooked in the nice kitchen and we were thankful for the dishes, dishwasher, coffee maker, etc. We gladly brought our own pots and pans to cook with which was a good thing. The pots and pans provided in the kitchen were a bit old and had teflon/non-stick surfaces scratched - not healthy to cook with. The only other unfortunate thing about the place besides the cookware was that one of the "queen" beds collapsed. Our friends woke up to the bed caving in towards the middle - the bed was actually 2 twin beds pushed together and was missing something in the frame to hold it together.
  
  Overall everyone had fun and the house was what we needed for a nice weekend away from the city. Thank you RR Getaways.

  Great amenities and worked out for our group, but comfort level

  We rented this home for a last minute New Year's Eve getaway. The home was spacious enough for our group of 8 adults, with 3 bedrooms and two pullout couches. The large kitchen was convenient for cooking, and the bbq and hot tub were great amenities! In summer, the pool would be fantastic as well. The only thing that was somewhat strange about the house was the decor, which was pretty heavy throughout the entire house. There were a number of display cases with locked up fragile items, and some of the furniture looked to be more for display than use, so in order to be sure we didn't accidentally break anything we moved a few things out of the way from the beginning of our stay. Additionally, the large dining table was buckling in the middle, which made us nervous to place things on it and use it. I placed a call to the rental agency when we arrived to let them know the table was buckling in the middle but never heard back. All in all, it was a good experience - I don't know that we'd stay here again if other options were available, but it worked out for our purposes. If the interior were redesigned, I think the value of this house would go up tremendously!

  The furniture in this home is all useable, and the fragile decorative items are locked up so that they don't get damaged. We appreciate knowing about the table, although we couldn't find anything wrong with it. Our services department thought you were just reporting and did not realize that you wanted a follow up call. The decor is a work in progress so look for changes in the near future.
