This single story, stone built cottage is located on the outskirts of the village of Ruswarp, close to Whitby in the North York Moors National Park, and can sleep two people. Egton Cottage is a stone built cottage situated on the edge of the village of Ruswarp, very close to the coastal town of Whitby, in the North York Moors National Park. This all ground floor cottage sleeps two and has one double bedroom as well as a family bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen and a sitting/dining area. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

A very cosy clean & comfortable cottage but lacking in small details No instuctions as how to operate the rather dated TV the kettle was unrelaible as it was damaged at the electrical connection point( no P.A.T labels on any electrical gear)An overgrown shrub spoilt the lovely view of the abbey from the kitchen window No instructions as who to contact in an emergency, Dr's dentist police etc a excellant area to stay. A little TLC could make this an excellent holiday cottage

This cottage has a lot to offer and is an excellent base to stay while you travel around. You could not ask for more after a day of sight seeing to come back and relax in such beautiful surroundings

Very comfortable cottage and spacious.We enjoyed our holiday here very much.Whitby is nearby which was great and would also recommend a visit to Robin Hoods Bay a lovely wee place with lovely little shops.
This holiday was very relaxing and stress free.Cottage was great.
