This terraced cottage is located in the town of Ryde on the Isle of Wight and can sleep five people in two bedrooms. Middle Cottage is a terraced cottage in the seaside town of Ryde on the Isle of Wight. The cottage sleeps five people and has two double bedrooms (one with an ensuite) and a sofa bed. The cottage also contains a fitted kitchen with a dining area, a sitting room and a snug with the sofa bed. Outside the cottage is an enclosed lawned garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

I have stayed in better student digs.
I contacted the owner after our stay to bring the issues of cleanliness to their attention and they have'nt had the decency to get in touch. This was nearly three weeks ago now. I am also not impressed with Sykes Cottages who, on their website, say that all cottages are "personally" inspected, only to be told that I will now have to liase with the owner direct if I want my issues resolved. Very misleading. I do have photos of the property but I won't post them to save the owners embarrassment.
I will not use the company again and I am so disappointed with the owner's ignorance. -

Ryde is a wonderful place to stay, lovely sandy beach, plenty to see and do, local shops and beach within easy walking distance. The home was basic, with no washing machine, or line to hang wet clothes on, also TV kept pixellating. However, this didn't put a dampener on our holiday. The location was great and children thoroughly enjoyed it.
