We really enjoyed our cosy little cottage in Rye. Everything we needed was available. Loved the warm log fire and spar bath. Lovely walk to the beach from the cottage. Very dog friendly too. Harrod our little labrador pup enjoyed playing in the back yard. Highly recommended for couples with dogs who want to have a cosy getaway any time of year.

Our arrangements to book the cottage for a weekend were dealt with promptly and professionally. The property is a bungalow-style 3 bedroom house with a large lawn garden perfect for outdoor games. This is a pet-friendly cottage. The interior is light-filled and decorated in a charming style reflecting its seaside location : timber floors, white-washed walls, hurricane lamps, photographic prints of sailing boats adorning the walls. There is both airconditioning and a wood heater, as well as panel heating in the bedrooms - very important in May! We liked the generous variety of books, magazines, Dvds and games provided in the lounge room. The couch and chairs were comfy with lots of cushions. The kitchen was well stocked, a basket of consumables ensured we had cling-film, foil, dishwashing liquid and the like. There is no separate laundry, the washer is in the kitchen. The bedrooms have ample storage for clothes. The bed in our bedroom had a non-sagging, firm mattress. A basket in the children's room provides a variety of outdoor toys and games - what a treat! We'll have to return in summer!

very clean, all the mod cons. very comfortable beds and sofa.Lovely dealing with owner.
