This semi detached, stone built cottage is located in the village of St. Abbs in the Scottish Borders and can sleep five people in three bedrooms. Rocklyn is a semi detached, stone built fisherman’s cottage located in the seaside village of St. Abbs near to Berwick-upon-Tweed in the Scottish Borders. The cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms (one double, one twin and one single) and has a family bathroom. Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with an open fire. Outside the cottage is off road parking for two cars. Close to a nature reserve and a lovely beach, Rocklyn will provide a memora...ble holiday no matter what you plan to get up to on your Scottish holiday.

TV, DVD, radio, library of books, games and DVDs. Electricity inc. in rent. Fuel for fire can be purchased locally. Bed linen inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Off road parking at rear of property for 2 cars. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2 mins walk, pub 1.5 miles.

Town: St. Abbs is a fishing village with a harbour and fishermen's cottages hugging the hillside, situated on the Berwickshire coastline. The St. Abbs Head Nature Reserve has a rich variety of wildlife and is a paradise for birdwatchers. There is a sandy beach 1 mile away in nearby Coldingham. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, well-equipped cottage. Our children particularly liked playing hide and seek in the cottage too. There are lovely coastal walks, a good beach and excellent cafe nearby. The only slight niggles were that the shower screen leaked, so we had to mop up after each shower, and the hot tap in the kitchen didn't work (the owner said they had called a plumber but none appeared in 7 days), so we had to wash up in the utility room. Nb the dining table looked too small on the website, but actually expands to twice the surface area.
