St Andrews is the home of golf .. with an abundance of quality golf courses in the area. For non golfers there are a wealth of lovely shops in St Andrews, together with historic buildings, theatre, cinema and some wonderful restuarants to suit all tastes. There is no private parking for the apartment, but there is free parking on the Scores just around the corner. Children will love West Sands, the long stretch of sandy beach which featured in the motion picture "Chariots of Fire" years ago.

Seldom does a rental not only exceed expectations but actually blow you away, however 20 Golf Place will do so. The view is as advertised as each morning we watched the play on the old course while having coffee. The rooms were modern, clean, and spacious and the welcome basket of snacks was greatly appreciated. I can't imagine a better value in St andrews.

We had such a lovely vacation at this beautiful elegant flat.
The bathrooms were new kohler fixtures, heated towel racks and warmed floors with a lovely kitchen. You may fail to notice all the niceties because you will likely stay transfixed sitting in a chair by a fireplace looking out a large bay window; because the living room has the most incredible view of the Old Course. Or like my children you will be waking at sunrise saying, "come on, hurry up we can simply walk ourselves out to another day on the links." Followed by the most delicious cupcakes in the world at Bibi's, a hop skip and jump to supermarket and bookstore; and all the other walking distance shops like Joules clothing -- not to mention the diverse restaurants many of whom are happy to deliver. Beyond convenient. We had a car as well and parking was easy. Personally after a week at this lovely apartment, despite the nearby luxury hotels and the new super condo building going up one block over; we all concluded that 20 Golf was better for several reasons that you understand while you are physically there. When we return to St. Andrew's we will definitely stay again and again at 20 Golf. No question. Great value. Unbelievable location. Wonderful view. Felt like home away from home. The owners who we were fortunate to meet unexpectedly because we arrived early incidentally also happen to be the most friendly professional Scottish people. We wish we owned this apartment. No reservations recommending this flat. (fyi for the travel snobs...about town the heads nod with approval when you state this flat address.) -

Let's be honest, how many places allow you to look out on the first tee of the first golf course...in the world...ever?!
Modern, clean, comfortable, could not be more convenient...needed help on how to use the oven and got it instantly. Arrived very early on a Saturday morning and were allowed to store our luggage inside while the apartment was cleaned - very helpful and accommodating.
Easy walk to the Dunvegan (about 30 seconds away) and all of St. Andrews.
Be careful, you will stand in the window and watch golfers on 1 and 18 of the Old Course for hours.
I highly recommend this apartment for your stay in St. Andrews.
